I brought my truck in for repairs just to get ripped off not only the money but also the actual service done. I was told my truck would be complete in two days when it took five. There was no contact attemp not only the money but also the actual service done. I was told my truck would be complete in two days when it took five. There was no contact attempted on the service writers part. I went to pick up my truck, there was added charges on my bill. I asked what the charges were for and received the answer of "I don't know, my technician isn't here to tell me." Other charges that cost me almost another one thousand dollars. I asked why I wasn't informed about the charges and was giving the answer of "We don't have to call if it's under a thousand dollars." I signed paperwork stating what parts I didn't want to be put on but was charged for putting those parts on anyways. I also asked for new lug nuts to be put on my vehicle, only to pick it up with out new lug nuts. Each tire was missing a lug nut because I took the locking lug off (security lugs to prevent theft). I was completely taken advantage of. I paid the bill because I was traveling out of state and needed my vehicle. Especially when the service writer explained I couldn't take the vehicle if the bill wasn't paid. During my travel, the new parts that were put on started to fall off. My drive shaft fell out of its mount, bending it pretty bad. I got underneath my vehicle and found that the technician put stripped out bolts into the mount, causing it to come loose. I was stranded on the side of a busy road, I literally had two wheels stick out on the road. I couldn't move any further to make it safe. I had to leave my vehicle on the side of the road with my mother (on her birthday) to get an Uber. I took the Uber to the auto parts store and bought parts and tools to fix my vehicle. I called the service writer to inform him what was going on. His response was as cold as I've ever heard. "Sorry for the inconvenience." When I traveled home I contacted the service manager to set up an appointment to talk about my issues. She explained that she would look into the matter. I never heard back from her. I then emailed the general manager to inform him of my situation. After a few days another service manager contacted me to find out what was going on. I relayed everything to him. He told me he would look into it and call me back. Four weeks later I'm writing this review. I sincerely hope no one else has these issues but this is how Prestige Ford in Mount Dora operates. More

I rate your service department very high in customer service and professionalism. Your sales department is another story. In 2018 when I was shopping for a new Escape I visited your dealership and they service and professionalism. Your sales department is another story. In 2018 when I was shopping for a new Escape I visited your dealership and they found the Titanium I wanted using your locator. As a knowledgeable buyer I made, what I felt was a reasonable offer. Your sales people including your sales manager refused to get within $1500 of my offer so I visited other dealers. Turns out the same Escape your salesman was trying to sell me was actually located at Key Scales Ford in Leesburg. I happened on to it by chance when I stopped there to look at what Escapes they had available. I ended up buying that escape for exactly the price I offered your dealership. Turns out they had offered to trade this Escape with you even up on one of your Escapes and your dealership refused. Your manager wanted to transfer the Escape at cost which would have caused Key Scales to lose their holdback. The deal could have been made and your sales team just didn't make the right decision at the time. So, I'll continue to use your excellent service department. When it comes time to buy my next Ford, which will be in 2021, I'll think twice before being put through that kind of experience again. A word to the wise, perhaps? More
The guys did a great job getting me to a 2020 F-150 for the same payment as my 2016 F-150. Mike knew what I wanted and worked for me to get it. Was even okay when I walked away from it the first time! Mike worked hard to get me the payment I wanted and add the navigation system I wanted. Well nothing was high pressure like other dealers I went to and left everybody was very nice ..Mike cook who took care of me was wonderful.. Coffee machine in the showroom was wonderful would be nice if to and left everybody was very nice ..Mike cook who took care of me was wonderful..
