What a difference a day makes! We found Prestige online to have a recall addressed, passenger seatbelt replaced, and to rotate/balance our tires. I talked with Michael in the servi We found Prestige online to have a recall addressed, passenger seatbelt replaced, and to rotate/balance our tires. I talked with Michael in the service department and was scheduled to get the recall and seatbelt addressed but he informed me that this dealership is unable to handle the Alcoa wheels because their machine is “archaic“ and would scratch the rims so this dealership will not do Alcoa rims. This was disappointing, but went to my appointment and the recall was completed, the seatbelt however would have to wait till tomorrow because this part had to be ordered and shipped, another disappointment. The next day, we showed up to get the seatbelt replaced. We dropped off the truck in the service line and stood out front for a minute. While out front Byron Nelson spoke to us as he did the day before. This time it was more than just pleasantries, he asked if all was okay with our service visit and hopefully it was not a bad reason we were back the following day. We talked and explained that it was not bad but just had to wait for parts. We then discussed the whole visit purpose and his reply was “if you get a new truck, you get new parts”. We said “yes we know and we have been looking but the prices here are more than Texas”. At this time it was 8:00 am and at 3:00 pm we drove home in this new truck. Wow, thank you Byron and Michael. No dealership is perfect but at least we felt like they wanted to help meet our needs. More
