In response to the above complaint, Prestige Auto Mall bought and paid for the parts for the repair , we sent the parts to the customer. We are doing everything thing that we can to meet Mr. and Mrs. Adams needs here at Prestige Auto Mall. We apologize greatly for all of the inconvenience that they have gone through. When the vehicle was purchased from a Pennsylvania Auction on March 4, 2014 it went through a full inspection before we purchased it, there were no announcements stating that anything was wrong with the vehicle. Also when the vehicle was brought back to Prestige Auto Mall, from the Pennsylvania Auction it was also serviced, racked and inspected in our service department, before it was sold on March 10, 2014. The vehicle went through 2 full inspections and nothing was found to be wrong with the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta. When the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta was brought back to Prestige Auto Mall after it was purchased from Mr. and Mrs. Adams it was here for a fuel leak which was fixed at Prestige Auto Mall, then the vehicle was sent out to have the high pressure fuel pump installed Prestige Auto Mall never touched the fuel pump. The vehicle was on our rack for a day and half and never leaked one drop of oil. There issue with the oil leak happened after the car had an additional 1680 miles on it, which was told to us by the VW dealership were Mr. and Mrs. Adams took the vehicle . We were also able to get additional funds from the warranty company to help out our customers. Mr. and Mrs. Adams also had the chance to review the Car Fax nothing was reported on the car fax, with any issues with the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta. Mr. Donald Adams was sold the vehicle not his son Donald Adams Jr and signed all of the necessary paper work. Again we apologize. At this time we feel that this matter is closed.
