Helpful...Unless Your Credit is Bad I contacted the dealership the week of July 4 with interest in a 2015, and a couple other older cars. I advised, up front, that my credit was bad due to medical issues and a divorce, but was told to apply for credit because they're good at getting people financed. I have a car to trade and could put a little bit down. The salesman was in contact with me for the first couple of days. Once I got notice that my credit had been run, I literally never heard from him again until I contacted him. He told me he'd been busy, but would get back to me later that afternoon. That was a week ago. It's awful being in a situation like I am, coming through cancer and a divorce, which destroyed my credit. Being treated like I don't exist anymore because of my score is insulting. If you can't work with me, just tell me. More
