I would like to say that purchasing my new 2020 Altima SR was a great experience. I started off with an application online. Within twenty minutes Mrs. Veronica responded. I told him the car that I wanted and base model. Even though I changed my color three times he still was very patient with me. Also my tour of service and watching videos on my new car. However my salesman Gaylan apparently mislead me as was assured with vehicle purchase I would have TWO gratis oil change which was no professional ! I have been a Nissan customer for years and years. I came in with a shifter that wouldn't move out of park. When I used the manual release button to get I out of park, it worked fine. When I brought the car in with a shifter that wouldn't move out of park. When I used the manual release button to get I out of park, it worked fine. When I brought the car in Nissan told me my entire shifter was bad and needed to be replaced for $1148. Which did not make sense to me because it worked fine after it got out of park. Whoever checked out my car would have known the same thing. This is not a misdiagnosis of the problem, this is clearly Nissan trying to take advantage of loyal customers. With my limited knowledge of cars, I repaired my car with a $14 part. I am positive that your service department knew this when trying to charge me $1148. I am appalled that your service center would try to take advantage of customers especially in times like these. And charging me $135 to try to take advantage of me should be a crime in itself. If you really care about these review, your service center, and your customers, I would be happy to discuss further. More
