Taylor Jackson will do everything he can to put you in the car of your dreams. They worked great together to sell us a car and make the experience pleasant. They have continued to help us with any questions or concerns even after the purchase. I would say if you are looking for the right car with the right price, and you want to buy from professionals with great manners go to Sutherlin Nissan. They will make your purchase a pleasant one!! Bait and Switch In Alive and Well and Living at Sutherlin Nissan! I live near Atlanta but could not get the color I wanted on a 2013 Altima 3.5 SV. All around Atlanta this model is black or white but Suthe Nissan! I live near Atlanta but could not get the color I wanted on a 2013 Altima 3.5 SV. All around Atlanta this model is black or white but Sutherlin had the beige color I wanted online. Contacted them with my request - Zach from internet sales contacted me and the trouble began. After 6 phones calls and 3 emails - talking with Zach is like trying to nail jello to the wall as they say - he thought we had a deal but would NEVER give me a final price. He would not list features or options of the car - I had to look at the picture on the internet. Even thought I had driven this car at another dealership (who only had black), I wanted to know exactly what I was buying and for how much before I made the 1.5 hr. drive. Needless to say at the 11th hour, Zach, true to form, shoots me an email and goes home and for the base price he says is the car I wanted (no tax, dealer prep, no options - just the base price and reminds me its a "low, low" number) so I still have no clue what this care will FINALLY cost me. He will be excited tomorrow when I pick it up!! (I would be excited too if I was screwing a cash buyer out of money) - unfortunately, it was a lower model with a 4 cyl. engine. I called the dealership - but Zach "just left" Zach called me at home at 8 pm. - said it was an "honest" mistake. Really? the price he quoted me would have been sticker price on the 4 cyl. lower end model - hmmm? said he was really busy and not "detailed" orientated. So I cancelled. My husband has bone cancer and is in pain as it is mostly in his spine. I wanted a cloth interior car with a plush passenger seat and navigation - his favorite feature. My husband does not have the strength to go to a auto lot and be flogged by a salesman for 4 - 5 hours so I thought internet sales was great, painless way to buy a car! wrong! Apparently, Sutherlin thought I was a stupid white women who knows nothing about cars and they could get away with this switch. Zach promises to get with me early Sat. morning with all the numbers and make this right. He PROMISES!! I will save at least $700.00 over anyone else . . . and I have never heard from him again. Andrey called to ask when I will be picking up my Altima as they are in the process of detailing it and filling it with gas. Andrey has a very thick accent and I have very little idea what he is saying, I tell him the situation. He calls back in 20 minutes with great energy telling me he will make it right, I will get the car of my dreams - no problem . . you guessed it, two days later . . nothing. These guys are game players and are not even good at it. Buyer Beware - they are nothing but low brow hustlers. More
Fred Merszelek (Finance & Insurance) pledged to help refinance after 12 mos of on-time payments. After 13 mos of on-time payments, Fred refused to take calls or return multiple voice messages. After fin refinance after 12 mos of on-time payments. After 13 mos of on-time payments, Fred refused to take calls or return multiple voice messages. After finally complaining to Scott Whiteman (GM), Fred returned call only to say that due to change in law he could no longer help. Admitted that there was no excuse for not returning calls but became angry and hung up when confronted with his bad behavior. Notice, he never disputed his offer to help with refinancing. Also, first calls were before the March 1 change in laws which means he could have helped had he been responsive. His delay took the matter beyond the change in laws. My opinion, this dealership employs untrustworthy people in senior positions and should be avoided. If Nissan is a must, try another dealership - better yet go across the street and buy a Toyota, Hyundai, Honda or next store for a Mazda. Maybe this explains why Sutherlin was never able to succeed with the Mazda dealership and sold it off to Rick Hendrick. Ask Hendrick how they are doing with this dealership. Amazing what competent, professional management can do. More

I gave this review because for the most part the service and people are friendly and great. It is just one person up in the service department who usually has an attitude every time I go up there and the pr and people are friendly and great. I went to this dealership on 5/2/13 because of a car that I saw online and was very interested in purchasing. The car was listed online for one price and I told the salesman this price once I viewed the car I saw online and was very interested in purchasing. The car was listed online for one price and I told the salesman this price once I viewed the car and took it for the test drive. At this point, I was ready to purchase the car. The salesman wrote up the offer and submitted it his manager, this is where the problems began. The manager listed the car on the invoice sheet for $400 higher than it was listed online (obviously they thought I would not catch this error). I told them about the mistake so they went back to fix it. They corrected that error and gave me another copy of the buyers order. The new order discounted the price by $300 but then charged $689 in consumer services fees and $772.79 for taxes (of which should have been $633). I called them out on this scam and reminded them that I was not new to car buying. I was told the consumer fees were standard and that all customers paid this price by the manager Jamie. I told him I wanted to do a little more research to see if that statement would hold true because that fee was excessive and he then RUDELY told me that he would not sell me the car if I had to talk to other customers about their fee. They obviously have something to hide if they don't want their customers to talk. I am truly upset about this and will file a formal complaint! More
In April of 2012 I took my car in to get the tires replaced. On the drive home I noticed that the Tire Pressure Monitor was alerting that the tires might be under inflated. I immediately stopped and replaced. On the drive home I noticed that the Tire Pressure Monitor was alerting that the tires might be under inflated. I immediately stopped and put air in the tires. I drove home and the TPM lights was still on so I called the dealership. They told me to bring it back in and they would repair it. That began a series of their saying they had fixed it and the light turning back on shortly after I had begun my drive home. Here we are in March of 2013 and my TPM is still not working. I took the car back in again and was told this time that I would have to pay over $400 to have the TPM repaired because it had malfunctioned and the car was now out of warranty. Keep in mind that this was working before they changed the tires. To add insult to injury, I was also forced to pay for service that I thought was covered under a service warranty that I had purchased from this dealership. They completed the work on the car after finding out it was not covered and without contacting me to apprise me of the cost. I wish this were these were the first incidents with this dealership but they are not. There have been numerous instances where during their courtesy inspections they have tried to get me to pay for service that other mechanics have said was not required. Now that my Service warranty is up I have no further reason to visit this dealership and they will never get another dime out of my pocket. Also when you purchase a car from this dealership be sure to check the odometer reading on your "new" car to be sure it matches the number listed on your contract. They tried to get me to accept a car with more than 500 miles on the odometer even though the contract stated the mileage on the car I was purchasing was 10 miles. They were forced to transfer me into a new car after I threatened to take them to the attorney general. I have copies of both contracts should anyone want to request I have copies of both contracts should anyone request to see them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Looking at the many excellent reviews of late I would be surprised if they weren't written by employees of this dealership. They appear to have been written to push the many complaints further down the list. More
We were treated with the upmost respect. The people that we worked with gave all their attention to us and made us comfortable with our purchase. We have had 3 other Nissans in our lifetime, so we new the we worked with gave all their attention to us and made us comfortable with our purchase. My boyfriend bought a 2003 Altima from Sutherlin Nissan in the year of 2009. In April of 2012 it was taken in to have belts replaced. It had never been anywhere else. That is an important fact to remembe in the year of 2009. In April of 2012 it was taken in to have belts replaced. It had never been anywhere else. That is an important fact to remember. In October of 2012, the engine light came on. We dropped by Advanced Auto, they ran a diagnostic on it, and it came up as the starter solenoid I suggested that we take the car to Shelby Auto (a great place), but his mother made an appointment at Sutherlin because they said it would cost less than 200 dollars. When the called to get permission to do the work, the estimate was over 700 dollars. I knew something was fishy. We drove to Sutherlin, and I was introduced to Sherri. Sherri is exactly what you would imagine a service department head to be - all snake. The estimate was so much because of the starter solenoid (which was suddenly quite expensive) and the fact that there was METAL IN THE OIL LINE and we needed a HOT OIL FLUSH. For those who don't understand cars, let me assure you that both of those are ridiculous and you never need to have a hot oil flush. After assuring Sherri that we were not going to have those done, I talked them down to a bit above $500 dollars. The car has never been anywhere else. Keep remembering this. Now, December. When the Boyfriend was driving to see me, he pulled out of the drive way and a medium sized plastic washer (about the size of the bottom of a mug) was laying on the driveway. He brought it with him when he came to pick me up. The car had been making a slight knocking noise for a few days and now the engine light was on again. An NTB is right beside where I work, so we took it in. When they got it up there, the pulley system above the front passenger tire had basically fallen out. How does that happen, you ask? By nuts and bolts not being screwed on tight enough. How does that happen, you ask? By not paying attention when you take them off and put them back on when you're changing out the belts. Please refer back to April. The Mechanic working on the car called Sutherlin to tell them why we were in the shop. Sherri proceed to yell (I say yell because we could all clearly hear what she was saying) at the Mechanic, telling him that we couldn't prove anything. Sweet, right? We sucked it up and paid NTB, though they encouraged us to press Sutherlin. Now we arrive at January. We knew there was a shock issue that needed to be taken care of already. The engine light just happened to come on the same day we were taking the car in. Handy. The bill though, was larger than we expected due to the STARTER SOLENOID being bad. Yup, that sucker had never been taken care of. So, to review: Sutherlin lies, they cost you more than you could ever imagine, Sherri is not a good person. More
