My service advisor is excellent but other service advisor’s around the location are not friendly at all. There is a lot of attitude for no reason just be happy and thankful you have a job. I did not have a good experience during my time at Sutherlin. Grace was my service advisor, and although she was helpful in the beginning, I did not have time to review my car’s inspection and recomme Sutherlin. Grace was my service advisor, and although she was helpful in the beginning, I did not have time to review my car’s inspection and recommended services link. Once my car was finished with the oil change, Grace rushed me over to payment. I told the person at the payment counter that I wanted to approve some of the recommended services. She then escorted me back over to Grace where Grace had already closed out of my service. Because of this, I could not approve services on my own in the link, Grace had to do it herself. I was not able to ask about pricing and the details of services. Then, once those services were complete I paid and had a question for those in the parts dept. Tire price match + 5% off is advertised on the Sutherlin dealerships’s website. I asked Eddie in the parts dept for more information on this. His response was “oh we haven’t done that in years, I don’t know much about that”. What does that have to do with me, as a customer, inquiring about something ADVERTISED on the location’s website? It’s very concerning that the staff are not aware and cannot speak on the deals and coupons that are offered online. Once I made it clear I wasn’t leaving without more information, Eddie told me to call back when I have information regarding the type of tire and place i want to price match with. Little did he know, I already had that information with me. It was very apparent he was trying to rush me out of the dealership and make it seem as though I don’t know what im talking about. I told him “ I have the information right here with me already so let’s discuss this now”. I was interested in the Falken tire. He then went onto the website to see if Sutherlin had this tire available. He did not know that I had already asked Grace to print off the Tires Sutherlin offered. She had given me a packet that included information and prices for the Falken, Hankook, and Yokohama tires in the size I needed. She informed me that they did not have the Falken in stock, but that they could order it for me. Eddie looked at me and said “we don’t carry the Falken”. I showed him the packet from Grace and said “Grace just printed this off for me that shows you all DO in fact carry it” Eddie then said “oh” he scrolled some more and then said “Oh here it is. Yeah, I’ll need to get with the tire distributor to see how we can go about this.” It put a nasty taste in my mouth that he made no effort to contact the distributor WHILE I WAS THERE and give me the information I was requesting. He also could not tell me when he’d get back to me with said information. Again, it was very apparent that the staff at Sutherlin do not value their customers, want to rush them out of the dealership, and make it seem as if the customer does not know what they’re talking about. I’d hate to think I was treated this way because I am a woman. All in all, I will not be returning to Sutherlin. The staff seem lazy, rude, and incompetent. At the very least, they should have an idea about the coupons and services being offered PUBLICLY on the website. If not, a genuine effort should be made to find out for the customer. I have told all those I know not to go to this dealership. More
