We are truly sorry that you feel this way. As you can tell from our other online reviews and BBB A Rating, Premier Kia values our customer relationships. The vehicle you purchased was technically "as-is" under the laws of the State of Connecticut. Notwithstanding, Premier Kia provided you with a 6 month/6,000 mile nationwide limited powertrain warranty - good anywhere - at no additional charge. The vehicle you purchased exceeded all State standards when you picked it up, and, was fully emission compliant. Registrations cannot be processed via the DMV computer absent of emission compliancy. At this time, more than eight months later, we understand that you have a code the results in the need to replace the catalytic converter. We have offered you a substantially discounted repair (using either OEM or aftermarket parts) as a customer goodwill, of which you declined. This discount results in a repair of about 1/2 of what you indicated in your review. As you know, you opted for other preventative maintenance services in the past and we, also, offered you a substantial discount of which you took advantage. We are truly sorry that you are not satisfied and, we believe we have worked to come to a resolution for you to assist. Our offer to assist, as we have indicated to you, remains open should you wish to take advantage of it.

In addition, we provided you with a 6 month/6,000 mile nationwide limited powertrain warranty as an extra "piece of mind" for you. We did provide you with preventative maintenance services, at your request, at a substantial discount. We did that as a client courtesy for you. We do stand by the response we made and, we do continue to offer you a substantial discount on the repair you need. Thank you.

We thank you for your feedback and are sorry for your situation. We care very much about our reputation and have a history of exceeding the expectations of our clients. Premier Kia completely inspects all the pre-owned vehicles we sell. We also average an investment of more than $1,400 per car to ensure that they are right at the time of sale. We know that you drove your car for about 5,000 miles since the vehicle was picked up from us. So, it is hard for us to know what may go wrong, especially on a car with higher mileage, in the future. That being said Premier KIA was happy to cover 60% of the cost of the repair needed to repair your vehicle. In addition, we offered you an additional – significant discount on the timing belt replacement recommended at 120,000 miles, if you chose to do that maintenance item while the car was down. We understand that it is disappointed to have a repair bill for your car, however, we don’t agree with your statement that we sold you a lemon, nor, did we turn our back on you. We genuinely provided you with a significant customer adjustment so that you didn’t have to bear the full expense of the repair. The Premier Kia team truly cares about our customers and we do have a history of ensuring things are right. We would welcome that opportunity to sit down with you further to discuss this matter.
