The first thing I'm going to talk about is the bait and switch tactics of this dealership. They tell you one thing to get you in the door, then once you're there, it's as if whatever was previously discuss switch tactics of this dealership. They tell you one thing to get you in the door, then once you're there, it's as if whatever was previously discussed gets thrown out the window. We weren't going to deal with Premier due to the bad experiences two relatives of mine had with them; however, I received a phonecall from them in regards to possibly selling my car. I figured with the current market, and how big of a demand used cars are in right now, that it would be a simple process. Yeah, I was wrong. The salesman called and I informed him that I no longer had the car he called about, but that a 2022 Honda CR-V LX was recently purchased and I was looking to upgrade to a Special Edition, because that trim suited my needs better. I was told to bring it in and I could do an even trade on it. The MSRP on the Special Edition is around $1,000 more than what my car was. I'm in a 48 month contract on my current car; Premier wanted to put me in a 60 month contract in order to keep my same note. So the whole even trade conversation that was had became non existent. This brings me to my second complaint. I don't think they realized that we have a pretty decent grasp on the current used car climate. The dealerships are marking up the price of used cars to customers, and offering more to customers for their trade ins. But at Premier, we were told that my car had depreciated, and because of that, they are going to have to sell the car for cheaper. I was also told that because the car is so new, there is no value on it right now. My sister (who they kept calling my mother) told them that we could bring the car to Carmax and get at least $30,000 for it. We were told that there's no way they're going to offer that much and to pull CarMax up on the phone right then and there. Told them that CarMax will have to do an in-person appraisal and won't price that car online. I brought the car to Carmax when we left from Premier and was offered $32,000. This dealership is a con that uses bait and switch tactics. My household just purchased 3 2022 models from 3 different dealers (Honda, Chevrolet, Subaru), and did not have any one of those dealers play games the way Premier did. Now I see for myself that the bad things I've heard (and seen from other reviews and news stories) about Premier are completely true and justified. More
