Preferred Automotive Group was started by Jay Leonard as a small lot on Speedway Drive in Fort Wayne with just a handful of cars in 1989. As Preferred Auto became successful, the dealership moved to its current location at 9134 Lima Road and began expanding operations to include a full service department. Growth continued as Fort Wayne began to recognize the quality of Preferred Auto’s vehicle selection, as well as their reputation in the greater Fort Wayne community. Today, Preferred Automotive Group has two Sales Dealerships and two 20,000 sq. ft. Service Facilities in Fort Wayne. Many of our vehicles are 1-owner and have zero reported accidents. Prior to being offered for sale, our Service Departments inspect each vehicle and make necessary repairs, adding a great deal of value for our customers. Our goal at Preferred Automotive Group is to offer quality vehicles and automotive service at fair and competitive prices, as well as an experience you won’t find anywhere else.
