My name is Mitchell Brenner and I'm the eCommerce Manager at Precision Acura of Princeton. There is no way to express how sorry we are for your experience. It was never our intention to bring you into the dealership with the knowledge that the vehicle you had in mind was sold prior to your coming in. We know how precious time is and are very aware to not waste anyone's. The situation you experienced was a mistake, clear and simple. There is no excuse for it and I'm not going to make any. Ray Fagin was talking about one car and you were talking about another. He certainly should have paid attention to the stock number but he misread it. Your email referred to the 2nd vehicle on the list. He looked at the 2nd from the bottom and you were looking at the 2nd from the top. He never knew you were talking about different cars. I would imagine that if he were able to speak to you by phone for 5 minutes you would have figured that out together. However we didn't have your phone number and told Ray you wouldn't call him and only wanted to communicate through email. Unfortunately Ray misread the email you sent and the confusion continued from there. He never looked at the stock number again because he assumed you were both on the same car. You weren't. Again I apologize that this happened to you and I'm glad you were able to find a vehicle to your liking. It was unintentional as you can probably see from the high ratings we generally get and our reputation is a very good one! Obviously we can never forget to pay attention to the details as that's where we lost out this time.
