Too many hiccups in my experience Purchased a pre-owned certified car and the next day it was making intermittent noises. Brought the car to get it checked out and i was brushed off that the reason was the rock that got stuck and caused the noise. I was reassured that if the noise came back, i could bring the car right away, no appt needed and was provided a business card. The noise was back the next day. Emailed-nothing. Left a message-nothing. 2 days later From my 1st inquiry, my call was returned and i had to set up another appt to bring my car in. This time the technician was very knowledgeable and persistent to find the reason. We took a car for a ride and drove until the noise began. He did find the cause and fixed it. My other issue was trying to get the plates. Every time i was told the plates were arriving next week. Next week comes-nothing. 3 days b4 my temp plates expire i had to call again and this time turns out they dont have a title for the car. W/o title they cant request the plates. They found the title the same day thankfully; however my concern was whether i would have the plates b4 the temp ones expire. The person i talked to was clearly getting annoyed by my questions. Therefore, my experience has not been a pleasant one. More

Researched also the pricing points through Edmunds, AAA and consumer report, thus I knew what price I wanted to settle at. When I did this research, I got an automated email from Carolynn from Precision Acura, since I live close to Princeton area. We liked the car model after the test drive and hazzled for the price we wanted to pay based on the research. Our sales agent Nataly was a trainee and therefore, a midlevel manager came to talk with us. However this manager was condescending in his negotiations, we left the place. He really needs to learn how to do a win-win negotiations. I contacted Carolynn later and asked to speak with another manager, then Charlie called us. Because of Charlie and Carolynn, we were able to work out the deal. Herin, the business manager got the financing paper work. We picked up the car the following day. I had to take off 1 star from my rating because of the first manager's attitude and some disconnects in the processess which made us spend a long time than necessary at the showroom, both of which we did not like. Nataly was courteous and knowledgeable about electronics of the car. We recommend that she also learns about the financing and dealership-specific processes and have a checklist of all items to go over with the potential buyers, so she will become a great saleswoman.
