It was affordable and had great gas mileage. So I had narrowed my choices down to 2 or 3 brands and styles and started checking on the best deals and planing a test drive of each. I found the local online ad for Power Kia in Salem. It offered a great deal but warned that there was only one at that price. I went in anyway, figuring it was a "come on" ad and the car would be gone when I got there or would be so stripped down that it would run the price up to make it worth having. I figured I would at least test drive the soul and then continue my search and make a choice later. I was amazed to find that Jim Roden (the salesman) was quick to show me the car from the ad and give me a test drive. The Soul was not stripped down but came with lots of great features. The 6 speed transmission is fun to drive. The air conditioner is a plus I don't usually get. The sound system is up to my husbands standards and that is rare. The gas mileage is great (and living up to its promises). It has lots of room for my long legged husband and It sits up high enough that I can see everything around me. The 10 year warranty is wonderful. Jim Roden was happy to show me our options. (I had to check out the Red one - way cute - but not as great a deal) and then we sat down to deal. I was ready for the usual run around and was amazed when Jim laid out the price as just exactly what the ad had said. No added hidden cost. None. Nada. No time wasted. No run around or pressure to buy a more expensive model. No need to look any farther. We bought the Kia Soul that was advertized, at the advertized price in a fast and pleasant manner. We are very happy with the car and very happy with the deal and the dealer and the sales man, Jim Roden. More

I started talking to Dwayne in March 2013 about getting me out of the car, I owed more than it was worth. He was patient with me, guess I’m a little picky, I wanted an SUV, one I would like; it had to have all the cool options, and be in my budget. That wasn’t such an easy task, after about nine months back and forth texting I told Dwayne maybe I wasn’t ready, he didn’t pressure me or make me feel bad for all the work he put into looking for a vehicle I would like, he just told me to let him know when I was ready. About three months later I was ready, had a new phone number and forgot, I just started texting Dwayne again that I was ready. After he figured out who I was he started the search again. March 2014 I went to Salem to meet Dwayne for the first time and pick up my new SUV. I love it and couldn’t be happier with the service and support I received from Salem Power Kia and their sales rep Dwayne. As my luck has it 40 days later I notice there is a strange sound from the rear end, I called and talked to Shane. He was on the ball and got it into the shop the next day. Thank you! More

All around 5-star experience My mom and I visited Power Kia in search of a new vehicle for me. We came to the dealership with a very unusual situation/problem. Jim took his time to dig into the root of what we needed and thought outside the box when coming up with a solution. Jim made what would and should have been a very stressful situation into a fun and light experience. There is not a single thing that Jim or the team at Power Kia could have done differently to improve the experience. I couldn't be happier with the experience of buying my first new car nor with my 2014 Kia Soul. Thank you Jim and everyone else at Power Kia! More

I had a great experience with Power Kia. David was great to work with. He was not pushy at all. I told him exactly what I wanted and he worked very hard to make it happen. If you are like me, and are a first time buyer you should definitely work with David he will get you the best deal. He really cares about the customer and their needs,not like other dealers who are just there to make $$$. I was out the door with a great car at a great price before I knew it! I went into the shop a few days later after a little bit more shopping, and test drove the KIA Forte, I instantly fell in love with the car, it was perfect. Jake went over every detail with me in full and again answered all the questions I had. Few days later I decided to purchase the car and he was able to find the perfect one I wanted, color, options, etc.. Took 2 days to get here and it was flawless when I received it. I would shop here again and recommend it to anyone, the customer service here was beyond excellent. Thank you again! More
