Quick and painless I was driving through some high winds when my car started making a loud rattling noise. A few miles later my check engine light came on. I called the I was driving through some high winds when my car started making a loud rattling noise. A few miles later my check engine light came on. I called the service department and we talked through the problem and determined that a tow truck was not needed. We scheduled an appointment for the following am. Upon arrival John greeted me and easily determined the cause of the check engine light. He stated what they would be looking for on the rattle and when he found it he called me and explained the problem. My car was finished within two hours and that included a car wash. I was grateful for the wonderful service at Poway Honda. More

Emergency repair...no problem On an early Saturday morning, I went out to the car for a quick trip to the market to find my car behaving strangely. The check engine light and "D" On an early Saturday morning, I went out to the car for a quick trip to the market to find my car behaving strangely. The check engine light and "D" (for drive) was flashing and when I engage the transmission from Park to Drive, the car jolted. I check the owners manual, called the Service team and they said "bring it over right away but only drive under 40 mph". Turns out, after a cold night a mouse, rate, Rabbit...something, found refuge in the engine area to stay warm. (we came home the night before around 10pm). However, this creature also chewed a wire that connects from the electronic system to a sensor in the transmission. This caused the transmission to behave as it the sensor was failing. The Technicians quickly diagnosed the issues, fixed the wiring, wrapped the wiring in a tape that rodents do not like and the car is good as new. I purchased the car from Poway Honda from a recommendation from a Colleague and their Service team has never disappointed. More
