refused to give back deposit Sam, the manager was very rude to my boyfriend and I. We were never told that our deposit was not refundable and when my boyfriend signed the invoice Sam, the manager was very rude to my boyfriend and I. We were never told that our deposit was not refundable and when my boyfriend signed the invoice there were no figures on it,not even the vehicle id#. When I went back to get our deposit back, Sam, flatly refused and presented me with an invoice that had the words non refundable deposit written on it. I swear the document my boyfriend signed when we were there earlier in the week was blank! When I told Sam, I would call corporate, he told me he does not work for Nissan! Also, told me to take them to small claims court and that he didn't care. Then as I was leaving, he and other sales people that were around proceeded to laugh at me and the situation like it was a big joke! We were never told that our deposit was non refundable, they forged the paperwork, they never gave us any paperwork when we left the first day we came in, and they charged us an extra $300 for delivery! Every other dealer that we went to said this whole situation is absurd and that this is the worst case of customer service that they have ever heard! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH POUGHKEEPSIE NISSAN! YOU WILL GET BURNED AND BE TREATED LIKE YOU ARE IRRELEVANT!! More

Drove car home and called Vincent next day about the following issues: -Tire pressure light on -plastic wheel cover hanging -windows stuck not working properly -glove box not closing I was also owed: 2nd key window molding (both taken care of) and promised Registration in 2 weeks plastic for wheel was ordered. Vinny told me to wait for plastic to come in and get everything taken care of at once. came in for service on 2/18 after part arrived had oil change and was told by service that they adjusted tire pressure and cleared light and if it came back on to call them and they would replace sensors at no charge. scheduled service for 3/14 for tire rotation, oil change and 2 new sensors to be replaced waited 3 hours for vehicle only to be told they forgot to do the tire rotaion and were not covering tire pressure monitors 2 needed front left and right rear that cost would be $435. are you kidding me. this was an issue when i purchased car, i was promised that this would be taken care of at no charge. should have been replaced on first visit rather than being re set by service. i basically sat there 3 hours for an oil change still after 2 months no registration for vehicle. Kristin DiFalco finnaly got registration now 1 month later rear sway bar breaks in half, car mysteriously needs front control arms and was sold to me with bubbling rust and rot and was told my sales manager jim im not doing anything about that. ARE YOU KIDDING ME More
Worst car buying experience ever! I bought a 2006 Nissan Frontier with 75,000 miles on it in April of 2012. The whole buying experience was a disaster from day one. I responded to an a I bought a 2006 Nissan Frontier with 75,000 miles on it in April of 2012. The whole buying experience was a disaster from day one. I responded to an ad online for the vehicle initially and showed up the next day for a test drive. The trim of the frontier and color were completely wrong to start with. I moved on and went with it anyway because it wasn't that big of a deal. We went for a test drive and it seemed like a decent vehicle. I inspected this truck for a good hour in the parking lot from bumper to bumper. I brought up a few things that were wrong with the truck. Rusting on the back bumper which wasn't very severe but it was rusting through and a concern to me. The sales guy brushed it off and said they can sand down and refinish the bumper for me before i picked it up. That never happened the sales manager wouldn't approve it. Next i found some damage in one of the wheel wells that was bent from the previous owner. They said they would bend this back or replace the part before pick up. They did in fact "fix" this and by "fix" i mean the lot attendant took a hammer and smacked it straight chipping paint and bending the inside. They didn't even touch up the bare metal afterwords. The final problem i found was some oil on the front of the truck around the oil filter. The sales person assured me the truck just had an oil change and it must have been a sloppy oil job. I brushed it off because it appeared to be coming from the oil filter area and he assured me they go over these vehicle from front to back. He also told me it came with a lifetime drivetrain warranty that cover everything as far as the engine, axles, differentials, transmission, torque converter, starter, alternator, and everything in between besides wearable items like the battery and spark plugs. The only catch was i had to bring my truck in for an oil change every 3000 miles and a tire rotation every 6000. He explicitly told me "i could blow the engine up" and all i had to do was come in and "pay the $100 deductible and get a new engine". Fair enough right? After we worked that all out i was told the truck would be ready and detailed on a Tuesday. So i had my mom take a day off from work and drive me in so i could pick it up and go! Nope that didn't happen! The truck was not detailed and the guy who works with DMV on getting the plates and registration was off that day and i couldn't pick it up because it didn't have plates or a registration. I was told this when i had arrived at the door. They didn't even bother to call me in the morning so i didn't waste my time. They then told me to come back the next day and assured me it would be ready and i could pick it up and be on my way when i got there. I show up the next day and the vehicle is still not detailed they were finishing it as i arrived. Sure whatever ill be late for work no big deal! I finally get the vehicle and drive it for two weeks. What do you know the TPMS light comes on. I bring it in because all tires are at the right PSI and they tell me they will reset the light and i should be good to go. Ok sounds good! 2 weeks later the light comes on again! I drive it back in and they do the same thing they reset the light and tell me it shouldn't be a problem! A month later it comes on again! I go in and tell them i want this fixed and i don't want to come back. They find out one of the sensors was bad and they replaced it for free. Fine that works for me! Next i bring it in for my first oil change and they notify me that my truck is leaking oil from the front of the engine. So much for a sloppy oil change huh?! They tell me its not that big of a deal and to hold off to see if it gets worse or stops. I say fine. About 2 months later(about 3 months after purchasing truck) the truck is dead in my driveway! Wont start and won't idle. The check engine light comes on and notifies me that my crankshaft position sensor is bad. I bring the truck to nissan and they confirm this. They tell me it will be $280 and they won't cover it under warranty because its electrical and not covered! Ive had the truck for less then 6 months and its already broken! I end up buying the $40 part and doing the sensor in my driveway in less then 30 mins. The truck now runs fine for now. I go in for the next couple of oil changes and they don't mention the oil leak so i assume its not happening anymore or it was fixed with a different tech doing the oil change and maybe tightening the filter tighter. Nope about 3-4 months later the leak has gotten so bad that i have puddles in my driveway and i lose about a half a quart to a full quart between oil changes. So i bring it in and they tell me its $500 to fix because the front main seal is leaking badly and the warranty won't cover it because the warranty doesn't cover seals!!!! We end up talking the price down to $300 and i have it done. The car now doesn't leak for now.... Around the same time i start to hear a whining noise coming from my transmission. I start to lose all power in the truck and it starts driving terrible. The whine progressively gets worse and i end up taking the truck in the next day. They can't reproduce the sound and tell me its a loose exhaust heat shield. They tell me they reclamped the heat shield but i went under the truck and they ended up removing the whole heat shield!!! I drive it for a couple more days and it happens again and again. The whining has now gotten louder and happens more often. I bring it in again and leave the truck there all day and over night. So now i have no truck for two days how will i get to work or class? Oh ill just rent a vehicle from them at full price! Do i get a complimentary rental for all the trouble I'm having with the vehicle? Nope. Do i at least get a discount? Nope. So i come back the second day and the techs couldn't reproduce the noise and don't notice the power loss?!?!?!?! So two days wasted and a rental for nothing. I have currently gone back multiple times about the problem with no solution. I even stopped by on my lunch break and kept my truck running in the parking lot and had both techs come out and confirm the noise which they say they have never heard before on any frontier. But believe its the torque converter going bad or the flex plate is cracked which makes sense due to the research i did online. I then go back to see what we can do to rectify the problem and the only thing they can do is drop the transmission for $500 to see if the problem is covered by warranty..... I cannot afford a $500 diagnosis fee.... i bought a $17,000 dollar truck so i wouldn't have these problems. Next up i get a check engine light for P0455 mass evap leak. I go in and buy a nissan gas cap at $30 bucks to try and start small and hope the 8 year old gas cap seal failed nope. Code comes back. I then go in and seems the next item to look at is the evap purge valve at $150 for the part and around $100 labor. This is then not covered under warranty of course like everything else. I am now at the point where my inspection is up and i cannot get it inspected because my check engine light is on. So i am in a 2006 frontier with under 90,000 miles with a bad transmission and a evap leak that is preventing me from getting it inspected. But i still have to go in every 3000 miles for those oil changes to keep the lovely lifetime drivetrain warranty that has covered absolutely nothing! And i am required to go to this dealer for the service when they won't even good faith warranty anything with all the problems i have been having from day one. So for my advice avoid this used car lot at all costs! My mom bought a 07 maxima and is having just as much problems. Even better advice is to avoid Nissans in general they seem to be worse then fords these days. More

I recently purchased a 2006 nissan altima from Poughkeepsie Nissan and my experience was amazing. I test drove the car and everything was perfect so i decided to buy it. I just sat in a chair and Poughkeepsie Nissan and my experience was amazing. I test drove the car and everything was perfect so i decided to buy it. I just sat in a chair and relaxed while they did everything for me. By everything i mean; research and found me the best rate possible on the loan, registered and insured the car, fully detailed in and out, fresh oil change and a full tank of gas. I am extremely happy with the job Chris Longinott did. I was shocked when he asked me if i wanted to take the car today, i didnt know that was even possible. But he made it happen in 3 hours and i left with an awesome new car. Thank you Poughkeepsie Nissan! More
My experience started out ok. I was working with the Internet sales person named Tiffany. I was interested in the used 2012 Nissan Juke S with AWD. I pulled together all my paperwork for the finance man Internet sales person named Tiffany. I was interested in the used 2012 Nissan Juke S with AWD. I pulled together all my paperwork for the finance manager and came in for a test drive of the car. I learned that none of my info was passed along to the finance manager. And I also learned that the car was not an AWD vehicle. Even after this was brought to the attention of the dealership, the AD remained untouched. More
