Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT go to Poughkeepsie Nissan. We were baited and switched when we initially leased the vehicle in December 2022. We were offered pretty favorable purchase terms at first. After agreeing to these terms, we were told to run some errands because the paperwork and vehicle prep would take an hour. While we were out, we got a call from them saying that they could not offer us those terms and if we wanted something close to the monthly payment, we would have to enter into an 18-month lease (which we initially rejected). Backs up against the wall we agreed. Fast-forward to May 2024, we asked for a 3-month extension on the lease to have it returned for September 2024. At the end of August 2024, we had the vehicle returned because we leased a Chevy Colorado from Healy. Well, Nissan waited 2 weeks to officially ground the Frontier we returned in August 2024 and because they waited 2 weeks, we were charged an additional month for a vehicle we no longer had possession over. Nissan finance told us to get a copy of the odometer statement from the dealer (and they confirmed that the dealer would have a copy). Lo and behold, Nissan Poughkeepsie destroyed the odometer statement that was provided to them when we had the vehicle returned to them. They claim that it's "standard practice" to destroy the return paperwork when they ground vehicles which is actually a violation of federal law (my license to practice law comes in handy sometimes). For reference, 49 CFR 580.8 requires dealers to keep all odometer statements provided to them upon return of the vehicles for a period of 5 years. When I explained that to Tom, pretended not to know about this (well maybe he doesn't but ignorance of the law is also no excuse) and then told me he would call me back to check with his regional manager to try to see if they could waive the additional month. Three weeks later, I'm still waiting for that call. Looks like I'll be taking a trip to small claims..... More

On June 12th, 2024 I took my 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport to the service department for an oil change, tire rotation and multi point inspection j deleted. On June 12th, 2024 I took my 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport to the service department for an oil change, tire rotation and multi point inspection just like I do every year before I leave for vacation. The service advisor, David Rivas, was very good. He got me right in even though I didn't have an appointment which was very convenient. The service was done quickly. The only problem that I had was with whoever the mechanic was that conducted the multi point inspection. He advised Mr. Rivas that my vehicle needed front end brakes. What he failed to find during his inspection was that all four tires were worn out and needed to be replaced. The cord was beginning to show through the rubber tread and the sidewalls were dry rotted. The mechanic should have seen this when he inspected the wheels. In order to determine that the car needed brakes he would have had to pull the wheel off and should have noticed it. Since that time I returned to the service department and spoke to Mr.Rivas and another service advisor whose name I didn't get. I explained to them what had happened. They apologized for the unfortunate incident and explained to me that it was probably the result of an inexperienced mechanic who was just hired that overlooked the tires. I was further informed that the service department does stock replacement tires. I explained to both advisors that due to the mechanics negligence it cost the dealership approximately $1,000.00 in repairs and tires. I would like to point out that Mr. Rivas was excellent as always. I have never had a bad experience before at Poughkeepsie Nissan. Other than this first unfortunate incident they have been very good. They get you in right away and you never have to wait to long. Even though I usually don't have a previously scheduled appointment. I have always been pleased at the way the members of the service department treat me whenever I come in. They go out of their way to help. They are always friendly and helpful. Mr.Rivas is definitely an asset to your great team. The mechanic, whoever he is, not so good. Hopefully he will learn from this experience. More

Nico Rullo provided the absolute best service I’ve received there to date! I sent my daughter there, as I purchased my vehicle there two years ago. He took care of her from start to finish with the up received there to date! I sent my daughter there, as I purchased my vehicle there two years ago. She was in there at 2 PM and was able to drive home same day with the vehicle detailed absolutely immaculate! He made sure every detail was went over and explained thoroughly!
