I checked out another Volvo dealership down in MA (which had more volume), but the whole experience there felt very much like the stereotypical salesman experience that one has nightmares about: no one wanted to give a fixed price, the price kept changing, the sales guy acted like a knucklehead trying to juggle multiple customers at once for some reason. None of that applied at Portland Volvo. It was very laid back and friendly. Whether it is my perception or the reality , I think I got great value for the price I paid. Can't speak to the quality of work at the dealership since I just purchased the car, but the dealership looks very professional, and I know they have a fleet of loaner cars too. More
