Today we went to volvo to discuss our failed transmission. Details - 6 years ago we purchased a volvo for $42,000 and today after driving it for less than 90k miles we were offered $1,500 for a well maintained volvo SUV. They all agreed; manager, sales manager and Mr Davenport the sale associate that the transmission had a history of per-mature failure but they want to put the problem behind them, not behind us behind them. $42,000 - $1,500 = $40,500 divided by 6 years equals almost $7,000 a year for a used car with a giant "we don't care about you" on the way out.
