My initial reason for arranging service at Portage, the business from which I recently purchased my vehicle, was to replace a top rear right corner section of the top of the car which had just "vanished", business from which I recently purchased my vehicle, was to replace a top rear right corner section of the top of the car which had just "vanished", but this is another story. I decided to include an oil change, though it was early. The service I received was very good and everyone was courteous. Unfortunately, after the hour drive the part was not there to replace the "hole" in the car. But these things take time and I guess it had to be painted yet. It didn't take long for the oil change and some other items I wanted them to look at. For the first time dealing with Portage Service, I was very well pleased. I hope I can get the "hole" fixed in the car soon. There was a 5" diameter spot of smudged oil on the driver's door after the oil change. No problem. More

I took my car into the dealer to have my AC looked at, they would charge it and tell me if I pay around $800 they would keep the coolant in. I said no, since it is under warranty, So instead of charging i they would charge it and tell me if I pay around $800 they would keep the coolant in. I said no, since it is under warranty, So instead of charging it and driving it around to see where the leak was they would drain the coolant and tell me there was no leaks the 2nd time they charged me $241, on the 3rd time I brought it in after complaining to the Maintenance manager, they finally charged it and let me drive it for 24 hours, sure enough the next day they said they saw the leak. So they finally fixed it a month later. The at least didn't charge me the deductible of $100. But I'm still out the $141. I will not take my car there again. More
