Everyone was friendly, personable and customer service driven. They go the extra mile. This is the second vehicle purchased from Port City. We worked with Matt originally to test drive a Juke and made a second appt. to meet with him to crunch some numbers. Matt was out sick for our second appt. and we got stuck dealing with Patrick. I was treated to a high pressure don't let them leave 'till they buy a car experience. The 90 minute terror show ended with the Sales Manage yelling at me in the parking lot!! BRILLIANT!! Rick, it is clear that I am not the type of customer your dealership is interested in selling to!! Off to by my daughter a Nissan Altima at another dealership that treats customers with respect!!! My husband and I purchased a Versa from Port City on Feb 26th. Never have we been treated so poorly during a sale and in subsequent events. We called at 3:00 to confirm our 3:45 appt, were assured that everything was all set, and we arrived at 3:40. When we first arrived, we were told that they had not had time to check the car or to put any gas into it. We waited while they completed these tasks promptly. However, we were told that Brian was busy and we needed to sign papers with him. In fact, we waited until 5:55 (over 2 hours). After the first hour, we asked a manager at the desk if the wait would be much longer (our children were with us). He just shrugged, turned his back to us and said he didn't know. At 5:55 a sales manager from Suzuki arrived. He appeared shocked when we told that our appointment was over 2 hours ago. As we began to explain our frustration to him, we were quickly ushered away from him into Brian's office. Matt, the saleman, was apologetic and promised us a free tank of gas. We never received it. We were so upset over our experience that we followed up with an email to Jennifer Fecteau. She never replied. We then printed our letter and mailed it directly to her. Still no response. All we expected was an apology and an explanation for our terrible experience. Port City has just turned their backs to us again. We've shared our story with many friends, all who have said that Port City has a terrible reputation and wished we had talked with them before going there. We do NOT recommend this dealership. More

Like many folks, I dread having to interact with aggressive sales people when ready to purchase a new vehicle. It's a necessary evil similar to going to the dentist for a root canal. However, to my great surprise, my recent buying experience with Port City Nissan was the BEST! I called the dealership and spoke with Phil Walter after locating my dream vehicle on their web site. Phil was awesome from the get go as he had the car ready for my test drive. On the phone he offered to call me back in case the hard to locate car model got snapped up before I traveled the distance from my home in Londonderry thus saving me from an unnecessary trip to the seacoast. Upon my arrival, sales professional Stephen Marchese showed me the car and explained in detail all of its many features before we went for a test spin. I was now sold on the car without ever being pressured for the sale. The dealership offered me a fair trade for my Xterra and arrranged VERY favorable financing of my new Altima sport coupe with a local credit union. In fact, I received a call from the dealership yesterday informing me that they had negotiated an even better financing deal AFTER the sale that would save me money on my monthly payments! What dealership would do that AFTER they have captured the sale? NOBODY. This exemplary level of customer service was truly amazing. Although I know the dealership made a handsome profit on both my trade and new car purchase, I did not feel that I was robbed blind by the deal. They gave me what I wanted in terms of the product and financing I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership. I am a diehard Nissan fan and I would definitely buy another vehicle with Port City Nissan.
