I went in to Port City on whim. At first the interaction went well and I left the dealership confident in my dealings. My first interaction seemed to be the only good interaction for the rest of the coming week until I took delivery of my vehicle. The deal required a lot of effort on my part, constant calls in. There was no follow-up on the part of the dealership. I felt like I had to nag them to get any information. Brian Snow pushed for me to go higher than I was comfortable on my payment. There were two good parts of my sale. Even though Brian pushed me to go higher on my payment, he eventually relented and understood that I would not go higher, and then he made the deal work on my terms. He was able to get me financed even though I have fairly poor credit and with little money down. Jeremy Brocato was extremely easy to work with a s a sales agent. He was laidback, patient, and answered all of my questions. He even arranged for me to take the car to an independent mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. The independent mechanic recommended that the front rotors be replaced or resurfaced. The dealer declined to do either prior to my purchasing the vehicle. The mechanic recommended that the restinator on the exhaust be repaired or replaced, and again the dealer declined to do either prior to purchase. The mechanic found a dead bird in the bottom part of the grill of my vehicle, and the dealer did have that removed prior to purchase. Delivery went smoothly, for the most part. I signed some paperwork out in the showroom, where there is absolutely no privacy between the desks for customers. But otherwise, I was in and out of the dealership on delivery day within a couple of hours. I purchased a Nissan Certified Pre-owned vehicle, and the dealership tried to suggest that other Nissan dealers might not be able to service my vehicle for warranty repairs. A few days after my purchase, I went to a Nissan dealership nearer to where I live, and they said they would definitely be able to service my Nissan in the future. Overall, I would NOT recommend this dealership to any of my family and friends. This was one of the most difficult deals I have ever been through. I felt like they tried to be deceptive. I felt pressured and stressed throughout the week, and could not feel excited about my purchase until I was driving the car off the lot after the deal was done. More

I presented many challenges to Dan and really wasn't sure I would be able to purchase the car I fell in love with, but he made it happen! I am beyond satisfied with my new lease! This is my second time leasing with Port City and I only have great things to say about them! Derek was very knowledgeable and eager to demonstrate the car, he listened well to my needs. Kevin negotiated with me for the car price and reached out to provide extra incentives. They need to work on how they assist customers who come with outside financing... the last minute paperwork was a little confusing but they worked it out and I was able to leave with the car. My husband and I have been out and about looking for our third Altima. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Countless times we have walked away from dealerships knowing we would never return. So I took a chance and on my way home to MASS. I stopped by this dealership. I was greeting by a nice yound man who was dress professionally. I told him what I was looking for and off he went to find it. He found this 2005 silver Altima right around our price point. He took me for a test drive and I loved it! So off to the ugly negotiating. However it was not! James made it light and really went to bat for me. I placed a depostit down to make sure it was mine while I went to get my husband up there. We went up Friday late afternoon and I could tell he liked it. So we bought it!!! Then into finance with Eric who was so awesome!! Finance can be stressful but he made it light and fun and got a rate for us and helped me with my not so good credit get on the title.I wish everyone could have the same experience that we did and maybe car buying would not have such a bad reputation. Thank you James, Eric and Port Nissan for doing it right and treating your customer..us...with importance and true respect. We will so be back for our fourth Altima in a few years and will spread the word here in MASS.!!! More
Car buying is generally my worst experience, I most always feel that I have been "taken". I will say that this experience was refreshingly different. Both Dan and Kevin were a pleasure to deal with and made the experience not only painless, but fast (my number one complaint is the time it takes to get these transactions done - but not this time!). Both Dan and Kevin listened to our needs and responded accordingly. AND, the lease deal on the trruck was amazing! It is the third purchase for me at this dealership and two of those were this year. Thanks for the great customer service. I also appreciate the attention I get from the guys on the service team. They have been terrific. More
