After checking numerous Honda dealerships in our area (on line and in person) I found the absolute best prices at Port Charlotte Honda. The dealership is 2+ hours from our home so we would not of even consid line and in person) I found the absolute best prices at Port Charlotte Honda. The dealership is 2+ hours from our home so we would not of even considered them if they their prices on pre-owned Honda's wasn't great. We had the pleasure of working with Zach Bolling who showed us 2 pre-owned Honda Fit's as well as the new Fit. Zach was very professional and pointed out why it would be to our advantage to consider new vs. pre-owned. When I asked him if there was anything he could do with the price on the new Fit his answer was yes and that closed the deal! We had been told by a dealer in our area "the price is the price, we can't work with you on it". Not only did we get a much better price we received an addtional $500.00 towards the down payment from Honda Financing that no one had even mentioned prior to our visit to Port Charlotte Honda. Long story short it was well worth the drive! I'm now the proud owner of a 2013 Honda Fit (I named her Charlotte...) and I have Port Charlotte Honda to thank. July 6 I Visited Port Charlotte Honda after shopping around and all I can say is it was the best experience I had buying a car. All the staff members are friendly and are truely there to help. Let me explain what outstanding to me means. Zack was there for the whole entire transaction and i mean as little as a welcoming hand shake all the way to the end to ensure I had the car I wanted and was looking for. I spent about 3 hours confused and unsure of the vehicle i wanted. I gave Zack the details i was looking for and the cars I was interested in, Little did I know Zack let me test drive every car I pointed out with the features off the car and even the quotes on Insuring the car. Zack was friendly and yes every car dealer is but this was a whole different experience. You can tell Zack was not just selling me a car to sell it, he wanted to make sure I was leaving with no doubts that i bought the right vehicle. Another great thing he always had recommendations and asked all lifestyle question's to match my needs. All I can say is I bought my last car from a dealer and The associates and Zack mainly blew them out of the water. I will continue my business and be a long term customer with Port Charlotte Honda absolutely phenomenal service. At 62 years of age, I have experienced purchases through many car dealerships, especially around the St. Petersburg, Pinellas County area. To date this car purchase through David Hilliard has been the most many car dealerships, especially around the St. Petersburg, Pinellas County area. To date this car purchase through David Hilliard has been the most satisfying experience AND I came away more relaxed and content than I can remember any car buying experience. This young man doesn't push or force a car purchase on you, he really listens and fine tunes the right car and deal in such a genuine way, you feel he's a relative by the time you sign on the dotted line. I didn't feel intimidated or rushed but when I look back, I have to laugh. I walked in with not an intention to "buy" necessarily, and walked out two hours later with a new car. Dave was the best. Mat Carter treated me well, he was straight up and honest, he also has a great team working for him. Robert Smith, the man who did all the paperwork, I admired most his professionalism and character. Robert Smith was all business, firm, fair, and honest. I will advise my friends and family to go the extra miles like I did just to get the world class customer service treatment that I received when I was there.
