Let me start to state that the service has been exceptional. I had a Porsche Boxster that I purchased from Tysons in the past and the Sales and Service side has been great. This time I purchased a used Porsche Boxster 2005 elsewhere but came to Porsche of Tysons for the service. The Service advisor was fantastic, I have dealt with several dealers in the past and Alex really cared, he took ownership of the service as there were several visits, he explained everything in detail and made sure everything was being done. Alex also provided a call back at every instance for updates and always called back with the details at the time specified. Over all he went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. I have also had several dealings with the Service manager in the past and in my most recent experience, he was very polite and helpful, when he recognized me as previous owner came in to say hello and if everything was going well, he also followed up several times to make sure I was satisfied. I also have to pint out that the actual technicians were very helpful, several times when trying to resolve a problem they took the time to come out look and explain. I bought a new Porsche Boxster S. The salesman (Bill) was extremely helpful and pleasant. The sales manager was no-nonsense and offered a very fair price to earn our business. The entire negotiation took about 10 minutes with none of the tiresome back and forth. The paper work was handled quickly and Valerie (credit) was a pleasure and fast. The entire transaction took only 30 minutes from closing on a price to getting the keys. Bill spent a lot of time showing me the car and made sure I knew everything I wanted to know before driving off. Great experience. I would definitely recommend HBL to others. More
I'd test driven several cars in the past week that were competitive with the Boxster I purchased; the Porsche clearly outperformed the SLK-300 I'd test-driven that same day. Salesman David Brady was very knowledgeable about the Boxster and took quite a bit of time to help a first-time Porsche buyer understand the car. Past experience at other dealers has shown buying a new car can be a bit of a trial; Porsche of Tyson's has a clean, simple process. I had gone to another dealership prior to Porsche Tyson's Corner and was dissatified with the experience. He kept me posted on the delivery of my vehicle and made the whole process as easy as possible for me. He was fantastic to deal with. I doubt if i would buy a car anywhere else now. Also, Hanna Diep did my financing. She was professional and efficient in a friendly way. I think its the easiest financing experience I have ever had. I just picked up my new Porsche from David and wow what a nice job. I have bought a lot of cars over the years and have had all kinds of experiences but this one ranks at the top. He was also able to find the car I was looking for. He had to go all the way to Texas to get it but made it seem like it was just like going down the street to get it. This guy made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. If you want to buy from someone who is passionate about Porsche and knows the brand call Dave. Also Val in the office took care of the lease for me like a pro. Most places you go to try to sell you a bunch of junk when you say yes to the car with her she helped me get a few things I needed and made it affordabe. Alex is new to the dealership but in my admittedly short time dealing with him I have been extremely impressed with his attention to detail and solution oriented attitude. For example, a car wash broke the stalk of the clock reset. The unimaginative solution would have cost me $2000. Alex worked with the maintenance people and mananged to remount. the stalk at NO CHARGE. He could have charged me $100 or $200 and I would have paid it. He offered other advice and suggestions regarding the care of the car and fully explained what and why something needed to be repaired. His demeanor is friendly but professional. I have owned American, Japanese and German cars and he is by far the best service writer I have encountered. More
I came to this deal to buy a Porsche. The salesman tried to push me into buying a car for far more than competitors wanted for the same car. When I wouldn't, he introduced me to the sales manager, who went out of his way to be rude and dismissive. I ended up buying the same car at a better price at a competing dealership.
