Overall, the entire experience was just disappointing. There wasn't a "problem", but it's not what I expected from my first service with a Porsche dealership. Visits to local Toyota, and Honda dealerships There wasn't a "problem", but it's not what I expected from my first service with a Porsche dealership. Visits to local Toyota, and Honda dealerships, are actually always much more pleasant and personable/pleasant. I'd likely go back to Porsche of Tampa to buy another car, because the sales staff was amazing, but my 1st service wasn't up to par at all. A few reason why below: 1. Had a 1pm appointment to drop off the car. I was told the later in the afternoon, the better. As it would be less time I'd be using the loaner car. Got there at 2:15pm and no loaner car was ready. I was told that the loaner car had "just been returned and has a nail in the tire." My appointment was for 1pm...meaning they weren't prepared for my visit. I waited about 45 minutes as a loaner was being arranged from BMW. A loaner was then returned during that time and I took it. I left around 3pm. 2 Hours after my scheduled appointment. 2. No one ever greeted me when I arrived. I stood outside my car for 15 minutes in the car drop off area, where signs read "pull here for service." Stood out there with no one ever coming out. Finally walked inside where all the guys were just sitting at their desks. They could see me through the glass windows but I guess a Friday afternoon means they didn't feel like helping me? I found Ryan at his desk and he asked what I was there for, and told him my appointment. Then I was helped. 3. Received an emailed video later that day where a service tech said it was going to get 'wheel sensor' serviced/replaced. Why? No one ever mentioned any of this to me. 4. Returned the car at the stated time. Had family in the car (including a 1 year old and wife). Again, we pulled up and no one bothered to come out. FInally told my wife to take the baby inside out of 88 degrees heat. I unpacked the rental (including car seat, diaper back, etc.). Again...over 15 minutes and no one ever came out. I finally piled our things in my car which was parked out front and went inside. Again, all guys are sitting at their desks on the other side of the glass. My service advisor, Ryan, was on a call. I didn't interrupt but he never even acknowledged my presents. Acted like he was too good. Upon completing his call he told me that my car would be brought up. I informed him that it was already up front and asked for the key and left. 5. I was handed my key and an invoice. And said "goodbye." Never once has anyone to this day told me about my service, my invoice, my inspection, or anything. 6. Today, 4 days after the service was completed and I received my car...I received 2 emails. The first email was with an attached invoice. On that invoice it shows that my tire sensor was replaced (this now explains the techs video from a week ago). No one ever discussed my car or service with me at all. The second email was from Ryan saying "if you had issues with your service, let me know." How about the fact that I picked up my car at the beginning of the week and 4 days later I'm receiving these emails? 7. My car was given to you clean, waxed, and detailed. I received it covered in bird poop, green pollen, and leaves from your tree outback. I understand that you may not have the facilities to park vehicles inside. I understand you have trees on your property. But at the very least...you could run my car through the wash, when in your car it's covered in leaves, bird poop, and green pollen (on a black car). I've owned another car (Toyota) and my wife's car (Honda) for 14 years. Never, ever once...have felt like having our car serviced at their dealerships, have I felt like I was an inconvenience to those dealerships. I felt like your Porsche service advisors would rather sit in the cold AC and at their desk, than help me. Sorry to bother them." Honestly shocked at this level of service with my $80,000 vehicle that I purchased there. There were $175,000 Porsches parked next to me at pick up and return, that all seemed to be provided this same level of service (i.e. no one comes out to greet them). Liam in sales is great. The sales manager is great. The service department seems like it doesn't care. In the future, I'll drive to Porsche in Sarasota or Orlando, just to avoid your service department. And I'm sure after reading this, you're glad to hear that. Because no one likes to deal with a guy that expects being greeted, or told what work was performed on his vehicle. We expect a lot I suppose. Your Google reviews seem to indicate that I'm not alone in my experience. By the way, I have a 5 star review I provided there a year ago for your sales department. I'm overly fair. Get it together for the sake of other enthusiastic Porsche owners. We own Porsches because we care about our cars. Act like you do too. This was for my 10K first free service, had I paid...I'd be even more frustrated. Tom More

They marked up parts 62% over what other DEALERSHIPS nationwide are charging. Other Porsche dealerships charging $1076K for inner and outer tail light on Cayenne. These guys charged $1753. You know t nationwide are charging. Other Porsche dealerships charging $1076K for inner and outer tail light on Cayenne. These guys charged $1753. You know these other dealerships are making money on their $1076 price, but apparently that's not enough profit for these folks. They then bomb you with multiple requests for feedback on the service experience but don't respond when you take the time to provide it. $150k gets you a great vehicle, and good warranty service, but once your warranty has expired do yourself a favor and find yourself a good independent who will not abuse your trust in the brand.
