My Porsche Specialist John Cummins is the BEST! This is my fifth Porsche that I purchased from different places ranging from eBay to other dealerships. I want to say that I have never been treated as fairly and as well, and very much like family, as I have been treated by Mr. John Cummins of Porsche of South Shore. Buying a Porsche should be an exciting experience, and John, as well as his manager Tom made it so. They went out of their way to make the deal happen, and to make sure the purchase went as smooth and as fun as possible. I almost felt like I was at home, as John, also known as Jack, offered me water, or soda, or even a sandwich each and every time that I visited Porsche of South Shore. He even went out of his way to accommodate me to have the insurance Carco inspections done during my test drive. How many salesmen would do that for you? I've never experienced such accommodation and friendliness. The dealership is like a big family and I was introduced to all the key members of this family, so I would be comfortable bringing my car back for service or in the unlikely event that I had a problem. Buying a car during the winter, especially a Porsche, can be a little concerning, not wanting to drive it home in the snow, and John Cummins even agreed to flatbed the car out to me delivering my beautiful Porsche right to my front door. Buying a Porsche from John Cummins and South Shore Porsche was one of the best car buying experiences that I have ever encountered. I highly recommend John Cummins and his dealership. Thanks John. Great experience I bought a pre-owned BMW from Porsche of South Shore. It was great to work I with both Koe Hodge and Micheal Breen. Everything went smoothly. Terrible experience with Timothy My husband and I came in today to look at a 2014 Caynne. DO NOT WORK WITH TIMOTHY. I'll start from the beginning, we come in and the lady at the fro My husband and I came in today to look at a 2014 Caynne. DO NOT WORK WITH TIMOTHY. I'll start from the beginning, we come in and the lady at the front desk acts as if I'm bothering her very important texting conversation to tell her we're here for Timothy, and to ask where the restroom was. When I returned from the restroom and stood directly in front of her she did not even bother to look up from her phone. My husband walked from the back of the dealership to me, to tell me that Timothy would be with us soon. Timothy comes over finally, and there's no start of a description of Porsche or the Caynne, just escorted us to the car... note we drove in via a Boxster. At the car he doesn't start to show it to us, just gets in to start it up not saying a word. My husband and I find more cosmetic issues than we anticipated, but none that were complete deal breakers. Timothy backs out the car, then goes to make a copy of my drivers license and my husband and I both confirm with each other that if we can have a price negotiation discussion due to the more severe cosmetic issues than the pictures showed, we were still interested in the car, but we both agreed that this was an odd sales experience. During the test drive I notice that the car is pulling quite noticeably to the right. When I asked Timothy about it, he had no clue, and told me to "just let the wheel go". Then we start talking about dogs - our dog is the same rarer breed as his friends dogs. While driving he shows me pictures... it could have easily waited till we returned, and was not something we were comfortable nor found professional while I was driving. We returned and my husband goes over differences in this car and one 4 hours away in Boston. Timothy listens, and his only response was "well why don't you buy the car in Boston." He said it VERY rudely, had the discussion in a parking lot while it's quite hot outside, and did not even invite us inside, offer water, anything basics that when owing a Porsche you'd expect when buying another, even a preowned. We found Timothy to be extremely rude, and unprofessional. Being Porsche owners, and receiving top notch customer service (and a fantastic sales experience) at multiple dealerships, we will NOT return to South Shore Porsche. More

Unprofessional rude cheap devices Most unprofessional experience we ever had with a dealership. We were interested in one particular car at this dealer. We confirmed our appointment on Friday afternoon to come to the dealer to get the car for Saturday. We called on Saturday morning before we left from our home to confirm the appointment time for that car as we were coming from out of state and had to pay 60$+ tolls round trip and fighting long island new york traffic which would take us 2 hours one way to get to the dealer. We called on our way as well as we got stuck in traffic saying we will be half hour late. When we get to the dealer, we find out that the particular car was sold Friday morning. Pathetic and unprofessional experience we had with this dealer. We were professional enough to call that we are running late, they could have told us several times we spoke that the car is not available. Zero courtesy and consideration for their customers...Would not recommend anybody going here for such unprofessional behavior. More

A great dealership Started looking for my fifth Boxster in December. Came across an ad for a 2013 Boxster that was located at South Shore. He was very professional and answered all my questions. Predicated upon our discussions and negotiations I flew from Washington, DC to JFK and picked up the car. The car had been completely detailed and was all that was advertised, and in fact, even more. The paperwork was painless and shortly thereafter I drove back to Washington. In sum, the folks at Porsche South Shore were a joy to work with and the car is a joy. The price was great, and the follow-up from Joe to ensure the 300 mile drive to DC was uneventful, was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely look to South Shore for my next car. More

He made the car sell itself, and I never had the feeling of being unsure of what I was getting. He followed up with me several days after the purchase. Alex guided me through the finalization procedure of the car, which he simplified every detail with the price and service of the vehicle. Edvin made everything clear and concise for the financial and warranty process. My next purchase will be a 911 in a few years, and I am going back here again. Excellent. More
