Poor Experience with Service Dept (swirl marks on car) I recently took my 2017 Cayenne GTS to this dealer for 20K maintenance and a flat tire. The initial coordination and intake was flawless. I was given a nice 2018 Macan loaner and my car was ready after 1 day. When I went to pick up my Cayenne it looked as if someone had wiped it down with a bag of sand. There were swirls marks all over the entire vehicle from the roof to the brake lights to the side panels. I'm a fairly serious car buff, so I personally detail all of my vehicles and had just recently clayed, polished and waxed my Cayenne. It was one of the most horrific things I had ever seen on one of my cars outside of being in a bad accident. All of this happened around the service departments closing time, so there were no managers onsite to address the issue and unfortunately the junior staff there did not seem equipped to handle a problem like this. They basically told me to take the car and call the service manager the next day. I was not comfortable with taking my vehicle in that condition and requested that they allow me to keep the loaner so that the car could remain with them until management arrived in the am. The situation at this point goes from bad to worse, as the staff members told me that I couldn't keep the loaner because they were reserved to other customers the next morning. They did eventually offer to take a video and pictures of the car before I left, but I still was not comfortable with taking it and ordered an Uber in order to leave the car there. After this back and forth with the staff for 10min or so a senior sales person (Scott Veneziani) came over and took control of the situation as I would expect from a Porsche dealership. He made some calls and then promptly gave me the keys back to the loaner and told me that this would be made right and that the service manager would be in touch first thing in the morning. The service director called me the next morning very apologetic and explained how they would fully detail the car in order to restore it back to it's original condition. I picked up my car two days later with it looking almost as good as new. Although I had a horrible experience with the junior staff on the initial pick up of my car, Scott and the Service director salvaged the situation and made me whole again by restoring my car. All in all, I certainly would not recommend allowing this dealer to wash your Porsche. I was never given an explanation as to what happened but I'm very concerned with a dealer that would allow something like this to happen to one of their customers vehicles. I also do not know that I will ever use them again for service. This was just something very unexpected coming from a Porsche dealership. More

This cohesive team of Linda, Stephanie, and Natalie, plus the expert technicians, insured every aspect of the experience, as usual, was efficient, thorough, and accommodating. Their consideration regarding my current scheduling challenges minimized a lot of difficulties on my side. Following the service, the Cayenne drives and sounds great, and was completely well cleaned which always puts a big smile on my face. An additional joy comes with just communicating with PSS Staff who not only always exhibit very professional business acumen, but are a joy to interface with. They obviously all love their profession and have great people skills. Bravo again! More

Emergency Service After nearly 2 hours of driving at 1PM, Paulette and I were approaching Washington DC on I95 on Wednesday December 27, when a “red” caution light illu After nearly 2 hours of driving at 1PM, Paulette and I were approaching Washington DC on I95 on Wednesday December 27, when a “red” caution light illuminated warning us to “stop driving, no coolant”. We were able to find safe parking almost immediately. While I was speaking with AAA to arrange a tow, Paulette called Porsche Silver Spring and spoke with Service Manager Natalie Muhlbock to request repair service. Natalie promised service help as soon as we could be towed to the dealership. We arrived at the dealership at 2:15 PM and by 2:30, the car was in the service bay, on a lift, receiving much attention from Service Foreman Rich. The issue was worse than expected: a nail had punctured the radiator - it needed to be replaced. Recognizing our desire to continue our trip as soon as possible, replacement parts were express ordered for overnight delivery, and a loaner car was provided to us. We continued our trip, and on our return, the car was ready for us. Natalie and her team were great. They did everything possible to accommodate our needs and schedules while making repairs to our car. This is a first class Porsche dealer organization. More
