My low-mileage (50K) 2004 Cayenne S wouldn't start after a few days sitting idly in my garage. PoSS service rep. told me I needed a new battery. It cost me $667 to replace the battery, which is inconvenie a few days sitting idly in my garage. PoSS service rep. told me I needed a new battery. It cost me $667 to replace the battery, which is inconveniently located under the driver's seat. Five weeks later, the new battery was dead after a few days sitting in the garage. Took the SUV back in for service and after 13 days PoSS still couldn't tell me definitively what the problem was. But the service rep. was 100% certain the current problem had nothing to do with the battery PoSS had recently replaced. His best guess/estimate was either a bad generator or bad starter that might cost between $1,300 -$3,100 to repair. But I would have to pony up some more $$$ before the service technician would know for sure what the problem was. I was fed up with the wait time and poor communications and declined to authorize any further repairs. I also asked that my $667 be refunded because it was obvious to me that replacing my old battery hadn't resolved the problem. PoSS service rep. told me he didn't think a refund was warranted. He told me he would go look for my old battery and reinstall it and return the car to me. This was after his repeated assurances over the prior 2 weeks that my old battery was no good. Assuming he could even locate my old battery, the notion that a so-called reputable Porsche dealership would condone installing ostensibly damaged parts on a customer's vehicle is ridiculous. That remark alone was sufficient justification not to continue doing business with PoSS. This is the same dealership that sold me the SUV for $60K. I had previously purchased a 325i from their associated BMW dealership (no problems there). Needless to say, PoSS won't get any more of my $$$. Ultimately, GM agreed to a refund. Thanks. Picked up the SUV and drove it home. A couple days later the battery was dead. What a waste of time and energy. More
Cragg is what every dealership should strive for. Professional, reliable, and always on top of things. There are plenty of dealerships by my office in Tysons Corner but none are on the same level as Professional, reliable, and always on top of things. Allen goes to great lengths to ensure that my Porsche is fully serviced, but within the budget I can afford. He lets me know those things I must do now, and which ones I can put off until later. Brought my 2006 911 Carrera S in for yearly service. It was very easy to make an appointment with George, the service advisor. There were several issues, including a beep prior to starting the car, that I needed corrected. It was a hard diagnosis and took a few days, mainly because they had to remove the entire hood, but George kept me informed the entire time. The car was in the shop for 5 days but they gave me a 2010 Mercedes loaner to use. I also had a coupon which they honored for 10% off, which made the total price less then all other dealers. All in all, great experience. Jay Sponseller, who runs the parts/service for Tischer, is also a great person to deal with. T. Nguyen-Viet More

Tischer Porsche is excellent. I have been to 2 other dealers in the area for service (because they were closer to my home) but none can compete with Tischer's excellent service. George Ayoub is knowledg dealers in the area for service (because they were closer to my home) but none can compete with Tischer's excellent service. George Ayoub is knowledgeable and efficient, and he even convinced Porsche to cover a repair beyond the warranty. I will only patronize Tischer for all of my service needs. More
I brought my 2006 CaymanS here twice--for its 2-year and 4-year check-ups. Both times it was a very pleasant experience: a spot-on estimate, open and friendly attitude, patient explanations, and apparently 4-year check-ups. Both times it was a very pleasant experience: a spot-on estimate, open and friendly attitude, patient explanations, and apparently great work on the car. This last time, since my wait would be longer, George Ayoub kindly offered me a loaner. Also consulted me when a service question came up. There are other Porsche service centers closer to my home, but I went to Tischer because of a poor experience locally and word-of-mouth that they were good. Will certainly continue to do so. More
I gave this dealership a high rating for a couple of reasons. First, George is very knowledgable, he listens carefully and gets the job done. Also, I frequently ask technical questions. Not only does reasons. First, George is very knowledgable, he listens carefully and gets the job done. Also, I frequently ask technical questions. Not only does George get the answers to my questions, but he brings the mechanic who is knowledgable about my question out to talk to me in the customer area. At the most recent service, I asked how to disconnect the electrical switch under the seat so that I could remove the seat. I did not want to break the switch fiddling with it. The mechanic explained how to do it, zeroxed a copy of both halves of the switch and then drew instructions on the xerox to make it easy for me. This is service beyond anything I have had anywhere else. More
