I've been servicing my cars at Porsche of Silver Spring for a number of years now. It started with my Boxster that I bought elsewhere, when I was a Porsche newbie. I had a bad experience at another dealership and decided to go elsewhere and I've been a repeat customer ever since. Now I've purchased or leased 2 Macan's and a 911 from Porsche of Silver Spring and have continued to have them all serviced at the dealership. My service advisor, Linda Harouna, is a fantastic brand ambassador for Porsche and continues to offer great service. She goes out of her way to make sure I'm happy with the service and is clear and direct about what work needs to be done. This started with my previously owned Boxster and continues today. More
Worst dealership ever. Have dealt with them for 14 yrs. Same old game. Same staff. They have no customer service what so ever. Dealership is trying to say 2yr expiration of free oil change is by the build date and not purchase date. Totally unacceptable business practice of bait and switch. BEWARE: they will charge you $150 for each little item they diagnose and quote you ridiculous hours. My starter was broken and there was a coolant leak (WHICH I PROVIDED THEM THE ACTUAL PARTS NUMBER FO they diagnose and quote you ridiculous hours. My starter was broken and there was a coolant leak (WHICH I PROVIDED THEM THE ACTUAL PARTS NUMBER FOR). Broken starter takes 5 seconds to diagnose - you start the engine. The coolant leak - I PROVIDED THEM THE ACTUAL PARTS NUMBER! Total diagnosis fee $300. Service advisor curtly says it is 14 hours labor to repair the starter and 14 hours to repair the leak. I knew there was significant overlap in the work replacing the 2 parts so I knew the labor rates were wrong. She stubbornly stuck to her position. I called another dealer and was quoted 14 hours for the starter and only 2 (TWO!) for the coolant pipe. A much more reasonable price. So what does the service advisor do? She calls the other dealer and tells him his price is too low. I would like to set the record straight. I did not ask for the dealer to match any quote, much less one from 2014. I simply chose to take my car to Porsche Towson instead. They were able to do the job in 2 hours instead of 14. They also charge actual time spent for diagnosis and not 1 hour labor for each issue, as is common practice with all Porsche dealers in the DC metro area. For the record I did not ask porsche silver spring to match any price, not from 2014, not from another dealer. I simply took the car to another dealer who charged 2 hours labor. I find it strange that this dealer figured out which dealer I took the car to and called the service advisor. More

My Service Advisor, Linda Harouna, is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She listens to any concerns and provides a detailed explanation of the service needs of my 718. All of the employees that I am in contact with are very professional and courteous. The check-in, loaner, and check-out process is great. Linda keeps me informed on the progress and provides timely recommendations. No complaints at all. Keep up the great work. Look forward to working with the sales staff sometime in the future. More

Linda's attention to detail and eagerness to provide the best experience possible is exemplary. She listens and documents everything the client says about the work needed, and ensures the client is kept apprised of the work as it's being performed. When I pick my car up, Linda always walks me through all that was done; she even does a final test drive to ensure everything is perfect. Linda's official title is "Porsche Certified Brand Ambassador" - Very fitting; Porsche could not have a better ambassador than Linda Harouna. I've been a Porsche of Silver Spring customer for 12 years. I live in Arlington and though there are dealerships closer to me, I will not use any other dealership than Porsche of Silver Spring. I receive a lot of compliments on my car, and when I tell people it's almost 5 years old they say "You've obviously taken very good care of it". My reply; "Thanks, but it's the great people at Porsche of Silver Spring who take exceptional care of me and my car". More

My service advisor Linda Harouna always keeps it real with me and ensures I get exactly what I need. From installing aftermarket parts on my Porsche (diffuser, exhaust, etc) to storing my summer tires while I have a winter set on, they make sure their clients are taken care of. Every person I interact with truly seems to care about their job and it shows. 10 out of 10. 15 out of 10 if I could. More

I was scheduled to I am writing this letter to recognize Linda Harouna as a Steller Porsche Certified Brand Ambassador in your Service Department. I was scheduled to drop my 2011 Cayenne off on 12-13-2018 at 9am, to have the brakes serviced. I was on site around 8:40am and I was prepared to wait until my 9am time slot. Linda promptly came out, greeted me, and started the process for receiving my vehicle for service. Linda explained what parts would be checked and possibly replaced and gave me an estimated quote of what the brake service may cost. She then proceeded to process the dealer loaner vehicle and gave me keys to a 2018 Panamera. My truck was at the dealership for the next couple days waiting for parts to complete the work. During this time, Linda texted me to update me on any issues and their progress with the work. When I returned to pick up the vehicle, she applied a couple of advertised discounts to the total, resulting in a decent savings on the repair! The truck felt brand new again, and thanks to Linda, it was another excellent experience at Porsche of Silver Spring!! More
