Back in November I was excited to find a white 2019 Porsche Turbo S convertible. It had factory warranty and sold as CPO. I knew I was buying a used car and it wouldn't be perfect. Coming from out of t Porsche Turbo S convertible. It had factory warranty and sold as CPO. I knew I was buying a used car and it wouldn't be perfect. Coming from out of the area, I thought I asked all the right questions. The salesman sent pictures and advised the car was sold new at their dealership and the second owner also bought the car from their store. As suspected, the car was not perfect. It was not close to perfect. But, the price was reasonable and even though the reconditioning work on the wheels and interior was substandard, I was okay with solving those issues. Fast forward to today and the car is in for PPF (paint protection film). I didn't know that both bumpers were repainted. And done so so poorly that Porsche San Diego should have never resold the car. It's funny that you don't see the issues unless you start getting right on top of the paint. Then you see all the flaws. Ones that will cost me thousands to repair. My experience with this Porsche makes me question Porsche San Diego and their business tactics. Not that I generally trust sales people, but I feel Porsche San Diego knew exactly what they were selling and didn't disclose the work done on the car. I will never do business with this dealer again! For anyone reading this, don't trust anything they say. Get your own shop to do a PPI. Don't be fooled into their BS about buying a car that they claim was taken care of and that they know the owner(s). How this car passed their inspection is beyond me! It's just a way to charge for CPO. Smoke and mirrors...shame on you, Porsche San Diego!! More
