The service adviser was very friendly and accomodating despite having multiple customers and he has to multi-task. I got the loaner I wanted but no instruction how to operate the gear box for the brand new Cayenne was given. He was very helpful, talkative and made me feel very welcome. Communication was good but car was not washed at the end during the return. The maintenance service provided exceeds my expectations but it was not perfect. More

In October, I received the bill from DMV for the 2019 registration fee (due date 12/22/2018), which means the fee was not paid. I contacted the dealership immediately for this and they said they will take care. From October to December last week, I contacted the dealership several times for this because I still didn't receive the renewal sticker and was even told it was paid. What a lier!! As of today, December 15, 2018, the fee was still UNPAID! I don't know what's wrong with this prestigious brand name "Porsche?" Do you need more than 3 months to pay the registration fee? More

Fortunately, I was in a situation where I had no choice but to use their service department. What a difference! They have apparently been bought out by a company that has very high standards as I would expect for a high end dealership. I was able to meet Garrett, the technician that worked on my car. He was polite and knowledgeable. The car was fixed right the first time and now I won't let anyone other than Garrett work on my car. What a pleasant surprise! Porche SD has my business again! More
Porsche SD Missed Opportunity & Lifetime Client Here's the email that was sent to the GM, Shawn Evans: We first visited your dealership the first weekend of May where we were greeted by one of yo Here's the email that was sent to the GM, Shawn Evans: We first visited your dealership the first weekend of May where we were greeted by one of your sales professionals, Michael Uchitel. We had an entertaining and informative conversation with Michael, ultimately ending with him sharing his contact information along with a request for us to contact him with a Porsche build code of what we were looking for (our ideal Porsche) and then we would set up some time with him to drive several of different variations of the 911s you had on your lot in hopes of settling on the perfect model. We were also interested in driving a Macan GTS, not available on your lot, so Mr. Ulchitel graciously offered to bring his Macan GTS into the dealership for me to drive on the day we test drove the 911s. Mr. Ulchitel suggested we give him notice and come on a weekday, in the early afternoon, when it was less busy at your dealership and this would give him an opportunity to get the Porsches warmed up and ready for their test drives. After much texting, bantering back and forth, we mutually agreed on Friday, May 11th @ 2 pm. We arrived at your dealership promptly, around 1:45 pm, so we browsed around and sipped on our bottled waters one of your salespeople offered us until we were hoping to be met by Mr. Ulchitel, who was currently tending to another client when we arrived but looked over at us, visually acknowledging our presence, and then continued with his clients. We continued to wait near Mr. Ulchitel's cubicle in an effort to ensure he could see us when 2 o'clock rolled around.... then 2:15, then 2:30. At 2:45 we left your dealer not having spoken to Mr. Ulchitel once. He did not ever come by and greet us and let us know he would be with us shortly, sorry his other client engagement was running over, etc. nor was there any sign of cars being warmed up and ready for a test drive like he had spoken of. We started to question ourselves and look back at our text history wondering if maybe Mr. Ulchitel thought we were meeting the following Friday; looking to give him the benefit of the doubt. We never heard back from Mr. Ulchitel that day inquiring what happened to us or did we need to reschedule nor did we hear back from him the following Friday (in case he got the Fridays mixed up). We even came into the dealership one more time, where the only thing he said to us was, "Hey, I know you guys!" with no follow-up or acknowledgment of the history we had with him previously - just the generic, "let me know if I can help you with anything...". We honestly felt as though we had been fooled by your stereotypical used car salesperson, which is the last thing I'd expect from a high-end Porsche dealership, such as yours. Fast forward a few weeks and as a fellow Porsche ambassador and enthusiast, you will be excited to hear we are the proud new owners of an amazing 2018 Targa 4 GTS in Chalk, which we paid cash for, and have ordered a second Targa 4 GTS in Miami Blue that is due for delivery in Q4, just in time for the holidays from one of your fellow Porche dealerships in SD County. It is unfortunate that your dealership will not be our dealership of choice here in SD County, but wanted to share the above in the event it can be a learning opportunity for your team. More
Do not go there! Bigger showroom is NOT equal to better service. Our experience with the service department at this dealership does not match the Porsche standard. Sho Bigger showroom is NOT equal to better service. Our experience with the service department at this dealership does not match the Porsche standard. Should not have bought the GTS from them a few months earlier. Be ready to dump in minimum $1,000 for service in order to get the loaner car. Even though, it was requested the loaner two weeks ago upon confirming the appointment. Be careful with Mason, the service advisor, he can really hurt you as well as your wallet. More

Rude, Contentious, & Unprofessional I have been going to SD Porsche for 4 years. Today I was treated in the most rude and contentious manner by service advisor Jeff Kenyon. I made a gen I have been going to SD Porsche for 4 years. Today I was treated in the most rude and contentious manner by service advisor Jeff Kenyon. I made a general reference about my expensive car navigation to my phone. The communication was horrible after that. I was just making a general reference--not a complaint. But the conversation turned negative quickly. Jeff began to talk-down to me, which implied I was stupid. I immediately recognized the contentious attitude Jeff was giving me. I knew I needed to shut up or this guy wouldn't quit. I shut up and got out of there. Needless to say I have to go back and pick up my vehicle. I do not want to deal with this guy again. More
Misleading and Unprofessional I went in after a month of negotiating with the salesman and agreeing on all the details of the deals. I live 90 miles away so I needed to make sure I don't waste a day on nothing. Unfortunately that's exactly what happened. They tried to pull some last minute tricks. I had everything agreed on and documented via written communication so there wasn't any room for "misunderstanding". The sales guy (his name is Arien), told me his boss wanted to discuss "other options" with me. That was after I filled the application and he ran my credit and confirmed that everything is "good to go". He introduced me to his boss who quickly turned out to be rude and manipulative. He wanted to discuss the residual as I am leasing. I told him I already discussed everything Arien. I also told him that I don't want to discuss other options. That's when he said: "then I'm afraid we can't do anything for you if you are not willing to answer a simple equation!". I was really thrown back by how rude and manipulative he was. I am used to car sales people using some cheesy tactics but they are usually diplomatic and somewhat polite about it as they don't want to loose the customer or severely damage the reputation of their business. This was the first time I encounter a sales manager who initiates hostility in such a rude and aggressive way! It literally took him less than 30 seconds to blow this thing off. I just said okay and walked out. I realized he was not worth my time. Minutes after I left I received a call from Arien telling me he "didn't know how things went wrong!". He didn't even have the courtesy to apologize! I told him he blew it. I asked him not to call me ever again and ended the call. A minute later, the manager of the dealership called and asked for 30 seconds to explain things. He blamed it on the sales people and told me he wanted to make things right even if it meant him loosing money on the car. I told him I will not be fooled twice. I asked him not to call me again and ended the call again. Both managers showed stubborn arrogance: one claimed I refuse a answer a simple question while in fact I told him I don't want to discuss other "options" he wanted to throw my way and instead stick to the agreement we already had. The other manager blow it by claiming he is willing to "loose money on the car just to make things right and make me happy!". Apparently, I don't need his pity and no one buys this nonsense about willing to loose money on a deal. We had an agreement and we both thought it's fair so trying to play victim was desperate and pathetic. Just like any other car buyer, I had my share of unpleasant experiences with sales people but this one was by far the worst. Completely misleading unprofessional. More

They bate and switched on me on a deal and try to scam me on additional $4000 after deal was done and after they ran my credit which is now negatively effect my score. My sales person Michael Gordon his manager Brent Haywood were involved in this bogus deal. I complained to the manager and 2 other General Managers Shawn Evans and Glen Anderson via an email and neither of them had the courtesy to call or respond to my complaint or the wrong that they had done on this. As such I believe this establishment from top down must condone such tactics and be on the scam. If you are online shopper for a vehicle do yourself a favor and stay clear of this site. Chances are you will get screwed last minute and they try to squeeze more out of you or send you the wrong car. More
