991 carerra S intermediate service and warranty repair Walters by far had the best price for this particular service. They were over $300 cheaper than the OC dealers for an intermediate service for a 201 Walters by far had the best price for this particular service. They were over $300 cheaper than the OC dealers for an intermediate service for a 2014 911 C2S. In general PORSCHE service visits are extremely expensive so even to change the oil and replace a few cabin filter it was $600. Which is the cheapest dealer service you can find really. They even remembered to stamp the servuce book un the glove box! Nice touch. The only problem I had was they had to replace a broken PASM damper and a bunch of suspension bushings under warranty and it took them 3.2 working days and unfortunately they needed to keep the car over the weekend. This meant several calls and false starts and when to retrieve the car, driving back to riverside can be tricky depending on time if day so getting to the dealer from OC is much less convenient. Essentially it's a time and money thing. I saved $300, but using this dealer wasn't nearly as convenient as OC dealers. And that's really the problem with dealer service in general. It's twice as expensive as it needs to be and you always have to call around to get the best deal and it's always a little inconvienent. Which is why most car nerds who keep their car after warranty expires find a local shop that does great work at reasonable prices. Sure these independents don't have free coffee, water or pastries, but for the money you save you could buy the whole Indy shop starbucks and dunkin donuts each time you visit, a d still come out ahead. In summary my visit was fine, the price was good, they fixed the car fine, my service advisor was good, it just took longer than i expected, and had to rent a car from enterprise, since walters was out of porsche loaners, and getting back to dealer was inconvienent due to the 91fwy. More

I had a special request that took extra time and he kept me up to date regarding when my car would be finished. Overall, I was pleased regarding my appointment, the loaner car made available to me, and the quality of service. The one area where improvement is needed is giving a cost estimate for the service appointment. Michael was not involved in this given that I called for the appointment on his day off. When I got there I was very surprised to find that the 20,000 mile service would cost me $1,043. The 10,000 mile was only $375. I should have been informed of this hefty cost increase. More

Satisfied and Impressed! I came to this service center by force. My 2003 Carerra would not pass smog without a dealer service department reset of my OBDII readiness monitor. I have use an independent mechanic for years, so I was not happy with having to go back to a dealership. To my surprise, the experience was spectacular. Once I arrived, I met with Mike Barcelona in the service department. He was professional, courteous, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and made suggestions to help me determine what actions to take. Mike provided a complimentary vehicle for me--A very nice diesel Cayenne. He provided a tour of the facility. He made my experience at this new, state of the art, dealership a very good one. He has just about convinced me to give up my independent mechanic and return to Walter's for future service. I also met new car sales representative, Tim Churchill, along the way. Even though I was not buying a car, he was very informative and helpful to my wife and me, as we looked at cars in the showroom. All in all this was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this dealership to others. More
