Cody helped me with a quicker service than I expected. In and out in 4 hours as a waiter! Less expensive than Orange County dealers too. In and out in 4 hours as a waiter! Less expensive than Orange County dealers too. More

It’s hard to find good customer service these days, I will have to say my expectations have been exceeded. Thank you Cody and Porsche of Riverside. If anybody I know is in the market I will definitely send them over. More

Porsche Riverside is not an out-of-state friendly dealership. This is the second time I have tried to make a purchase with them. The first was a few months ago on a '20 Spyder. In that deal I offe dealership. This is the second time I have tried to make a purchase with them. The first was a few months ago on a '20 Spyder. In that deal I offered MSRP if they would cover shipping. They said they wouldn't cover shipping and that they'd rather sell the car locally anyway to get the service business. Ok, fair enough, their call. About a week later the salesman, Taylor, reached back out to tell me his GM changed his mind and did agree to cover shipping. I said great and we moved forward. Generally, with most out-of-state Porsche dealers they overnight the paperwork, I get it signed and notarized, and overnight it back and then they ship the car. I've done this dozens of times. Porsche Riverside/Walter dealerships instead send the paperwork to a local notary who then has to meet you somewhere to sign paperwork. In my case, that ended up being a nightmare with multiple delays, a notary that was abrasive and missed appointments so I ended up backing out of the transaction. Fast forward to a few days ago. I saw on Autotrader they have a GT4 I liked, so I reached out via text to the same salesman I worked with last time, Taylor. I asked him if he could get me the car by Christmas. I also said to him no local notary this time, to just overnight the paperwork like everyone else. He said he couldn't overnight the paperwork, company policy, but he could meet me in Vegas with the car, I could sign docs, and drive the car home. That sounded like a good solution, so he got me a shipping quote and we arranged to meet on Wednesday, a few days before Christmas. He confirmed my down payment amount, using my same credit card, all seemed to be well. Then I got a text saying his manager (Ed) had told him he wanted 5k over sticker now since I am out-of-state and they'd rather sell the car locally to get the service business. Obviously frustrated at what feels to me like a bait and switch, I texted back questioning if it is even legal under California law to not follow through on a nationally advertised price on Autotrader? I also let them know I'd be leaving a google review so other out-of-state buyers can be forewarned. At this point I got a phone call from Ed, the sales manager, telling me that based on me trying to 'strong-arm' the dealership he would not ever sell me any car from Riverside at any price. Wow!! A half-hour ago I was looking at flights with my wife giggling about a last minute Christmas trip to get a guards red GT4. Now we're looking at each other dumbfounded at first, the bait-and-switch last minute 5k price increase, and second being called out by the manager and yelled at for having the audacity to expect them to simply follow through on a purchase at the agreed upon MSRP. I'm honestly a little bit in shock. I'll be steering clear of Porsche Riverside for my future Porsche impulse-purchase needs. More
