The entire experience at Walter's was remarkably pleasant and relaxed. Initially I met with John Beech but primarily worked with Steve Caruso. Steve allowed me to take a reasonably long test drive in the car I was interested in, and ended up buying; it wasn't just a quick drive around the block that I had experienced elsewhere. He explained the multiple features of the car (a 2013 Porsche 911) in thorough detail. We then sat down to discuss the money, usually a traumatic experience, But the entire experience with Steve, and with everyone else I dealt with, was very low pressured, friendly and professional. Steve took the time to explore all the payment options and worked with me to get the best possible deal. I feel I got a very good price on an excellent automobile. Even meeting with the finance manager, Andrew Bartoli, was similarly casual and, yes, friendly and helpful. (Those are words not usually associated with finance managers, from my experience.) When I was ready to drive my new car home, Steve spent about a half an hour making sure I was familiar with the features of the car, especially the PCM functions (it does a lot!). Overall, it was a surprisingly easy transaction. This was my first purchase at this dealership, but it probably won't be my last. More

On our 33rd wedding anniversary I wanted to buy my wife the car of her dreams, a brand new Porsche. I'd been hearing this since we met in high school, how much she wanted some day to own a Porsche. Friday Sept 27th was our 33rd year anniversary, so living in south OC I drove to a big name dealership in the OC to shop for a 2014 Cayman S. After wondering around that dealer for about 20 minutes, I finally went inside to speak with a sales person about the black Cayman S on their lot. The sales person seemed preoccupied answering text messages-I've had less painful root canals then what it took for him to go get the key and open up the car. Trying to test drive it required completing a credit application and him asking me a bunch of personal questions. I asked what their best deal would be on the car referring to price and terms. "Sticker price is the lowest we could go" but I'd need to make a decision quick as he said they were selling like hot cakes. I walked away as I don't like being pressured. I visited another dealer where the treatment wasn't much better. Then I went to the Jaguar dealer to investigate the F type as option, but it wasn't the car of her dreams. Sunday morning I found Walters Porsche in Riverside and placed a call, quickly and politely answered by Bob Mc Donald. They had a black Cayman S with beautiful red leather interior-drop dead gorgeous! So we drove to Walters, and were in and out in about an hour. Bob and Jason Hardin in finance we're friendly, professional and gave us a great deal on price, trade in and lease terms. I've bought a lot of cars in the past 39 years and I say this with complete honesty; I've never had a better experience buying a car than I did at Walters in Riverside and Bob went out of his way to take care of us promptly and professionally. I'll be back in 2 years when our lease is up for another Porsche, maybe 2! More

I have been researching Porsche for a few years and dealing with John Beech. John is very knowledgable in the Porsche product. I went to Walters on 9/21/13 looking to purchase a Panamera. I walked into the dealership and met John Beech who greeted me with a smile and was very courteous. I felt very comfortable right there. I let him know that I was on a trek today and that I was probably going to put quite a few miles on my truck because i anticipated on also visiting Porsche in San Diego then Porsche of Long Beach and it that would make it a full loop since I live in Los Alamitos. Anyways, I told him hopefully that I wont have to drive any farther than here. John is friendly, down to earth, no pressure sales, knowledgeable and boy can he DRIVE.. we took the Panamera for a test drive and believe me what a thrill. John and I had a few things in common as I got to know him throughout the day. To keep it short, the sales transaction from John Beech to Frank the sales manager to Jason the finance manager is top notch and made for a great experience with excellent customer service.
