I wasn't pressured to purchase right away and they allowed me to think about it over night. When I picked up my beauty, they took their time to go through all the buttons and features that my Porsche had. They did it so well and I wasn't confused nor was I bored. Andy from finance was also a pleasure to meet, he was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The only place to buy a Porsche My wife and I love cars--we've bought or leased 48 new cars during our marriage. The experience at Walter's Porsche was definitely the best. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like friends and enthusiasts. Sales Manager Pete Laban and Brand Ambassador Tim Churchill clearly love Porsche cars and their knowledge of the product was encyclopedic. For example, when most dealers order cars from the factory, they choose safe colors like white, black or maybe silver. Pete orders some cars in "paint to sample" custom colors, choosing colors from Porsche's history. Most sales managers don't even know what those colors are, let alone actually special ordering those colors. We were interested in a Boxster S. We were encouraged to not only test drive that model, but any other car on the lot. In fact, when we returned from each test drive, they had another car ready and waiting for us to try. From our talks about our tastes in cars they knew what we were likely to enjoy. We've never experienced such a willingness to let us try so many cars. Once we settled on a car, we discussed terms. We were offered a variety of choices of mileage and length of contract. We did no haggling--the price offered was far below that of any other dealer we had visited. I am 100% confident we got the best deal possible. It just took a few minutes for the deal to be written up. While we were waiting, Pete noted that the car we picked would look especially nice with clear side marker lenses in place of the standard amber units. He went ahead and got them for us at no charge. After signing the papers, Tim took us through the car's features and controls. This car has a very complex driver interface with a number of menus and sub-menus, but Tim made it simple. His very thorough demonstration (including pairing my phone and downloading my contacts) had me feeling like I've been driving this car for months. Tim followed up with us a couple times after the sale, making sure we were able to program the Homelink (and offering to walk us through the process if needed). He offered to make service appointments for us when needed, even if we wanted to go to another dealer for service. That's impressive--he's clearly putting the customer first. We had to drive an extra hour to get to Walter's from where we live--that drive was well worth it. I'm so impressed I plan to make that drive when the car needs service. Of course, when it's time for our next car, you can bet we'll head to Walter's. One last thing--two days after the sale we received a package from Walter's--it was a chrome Porsche license plate frame inscribed with the famous Porsche slogan: "There is no substitute." That's true of both Porsche AND Walter's. More

Walter's Porsche of Riverside Sets the Bar Quite High This was my third Porsche purchasing experience and my first through Walter’s Porsche of Riverside. Quite frankly I had never heard of this dealership before as I had previously focused on dealerships near where I live in Orange County. So, not having any particular loyalty ties to either dealership I had previously done business with, I decided to shop around this time to see where I might possibly get the best deal, though I did ask the others to make their best offer but they didn’t come close. Turns out Walter’s Porsche of Riverside is by far the best dealership to get the best deal in the Southern California region. And it makes sense too, as their operating costs must be lower than that of dealerships near the coast where real estate is at a premium. Being smart business folks, they in turn pass their savings on to customers like myself. Yes, getting a great deal is what drew me in, but what I didn’t realize is how well I was about to be treated as a customer of theirs. Exceeding expectations is how I define excellent customer service. And Cory Williams, my sales guy there, demonstrated that over and over during my order placement last fall and especially at final delivery early this year. I was so impressed by the “royal treatment” that I felt compelled to write his boss, Ed McRae, the general manager, to let him know how Cory had gone out of his way – even during his off days – to deliver courteous, professional customer service. I really wasn’t expecting the general manager to take time from his busy day to reply to an email from an ordinary customer, but he did, and thanked me for writing. He closed by politely saying that if he could be of any help in the future to contact him directly and that he will see what he can do. Well, I had no idea he really meant it, as I did contact him months later to take him up on his offer, and to my pleasant surprise he far exceeded my expectations! Just as Cory before him had done. What can I say – I have nothing but high praise for this dealership. Exceeding customer expectations seems to be the operating business philosophy at Walter’s Porsche of Riverside. From the general manager to the sales staff, and the service department, no doubt. This is clearly one well-managed, well-run, customer-oriented automotive dealership. I consider myself fortunate to have discovered Walter’s Porsche when I did. And I really mean this: If you’re looking for a Porsche dealership that offers the best pricing and the best customer service, you’ll consider yourself very fortunate as well to have chosen this dealership to do business with. Recently, I just picked up a 911 turbo from porsche of riverside and was experiencing a little issue with the sunroof. I scheduled an appointment to see service and they referred me to the service manager, Conrad, who happens to be the friendliest porsche service manager, and definitely someone who knows his porsche inside and out. When I arrived, we took my car for a spin and took me through the process of determining the problem step by step, and he quickly identified the issue with the sunroof and ratified the problem immediately. I am very impressed with his knowledge and judgement. I would totally recommend any Porsche owner to service their cars here! More
