Steve came as a friend's referral, who got his first porsche with Steve and was very satisfied with him. It's not that Walters doesn't always have a good selection of late model Porsches but, sensing that I was a car "nut", when this particular car came in he contacted me right away. I personally ordered my Cayenne Turbo. Scott was wonderful from day one. I waited almost four months. It finally arrived and I am so happy. We owned a 2007 Porche Car We took delivery of our custom ordered 2014 Porsche Carrera S on November 5, 2013 from Walters Porsche in Riverside, Ca. We owned a 2007 Porche Carrera and had decided to invest in a new one having read many auto magazine reviews. I had contacted the dealership that sold me the 2007 Carrera and was a bit put off by the salespersons response to my inquires. We decided to visit Walters Porsche and are glad we did. Our sales representative was Tim Churchill. From the offset Tim was very cordial, personable, honest and easy to talk to guy. He was more than willing to talk about the car, listen to my concerns about a Carrera vs Carrera S and what the various performance options available actually did for the performance of the car. Tim and I drove both models including all the various options (7 speed manual, PDK, Sports Chrono, Sport exhuast etc) and I was able to see for myself the advantages of the S model and the performance options I would want on our particular 911. Negotiation of the price of the car was very pleasant and fair. Ordering the car was a breeze, waiting for it to arrive like forever, but it was"not coming from Detroit or Bowling Green...... Tim regularly kept me updated as to the production date, ship loading and port departure and arrival date. If I had a question about the car he would call me on his day off.. (Never had that happen before) Once the care arrived at the dealership Tim was gracious to pick my wife and I up at our home to take us to Walters so that we could drive the car home together. Completing the purchase paperwork at Walters was surprisingly quick (less than an hour) WOW. After the paperwork was done Tim took a good hour with my wife and I orientating us to the operations of the car, showing us how all the functions (navigation, entertainment, performance and digital displays) worked, and believe me this was much appreciated. This made reading operating manuals easy to understand having already had a hands on session. Walters also at my request took care of installing a invisible bra on the car at the dealership and securing and installing a set of chromed Porsche wheels to complete the car to my specifications. The workmanship was excellent and the pricing was absolutely competitive with any independent retailers. This truly my the purchase of the car a turnkey experience. Leaving Walters Porsche on the day of the purchase my wife turned to me and said "This is the easiest and most fun I have ever had buying a car." We are 100% satisfied with Tim and everyone else we came in contact with at Walters...Oh and of course the S. Its just the way it drives!! More
