THE REST OF THE STORY There is great and OK elements on this three week followup. I bought a 2014 911 Turbo S with 350 miles on it. So in absolute terms it was used. Three weeks later I drove it in the rain and had several engine control failure lights come on. Ultimately the local Porsche dealer found pretty major pack rat damage that was revealed by water involvement. I spoke to Pete Laban who then investigated. Walters Porsche paid for the repair and a recertification inspection to make sure everything was perfect. Their willingness to perform after the sale speaks volumes about their professionalism. Bob disappeared after the sale but the dealership is superb, I suggested you use them for your next purchase in the first paragraph, now you have proof that they are a good choice. I had checked Walter's Porsche, pre-owned inventory on-line, and they had several cars that I was interested in, they did have a good inventory. I had been looking over the used market in southern California for about six weeks, but was not anticipating that I would buy for at least a year or more. Scott took me for a test ride in one of the cars and was very well educated in the history of Porsche, and was very attentive to my questions, this was very helpful because I had a very limited amount of familiarity with Porsche. Then he turned my wife and I loose to test drive several different cars and we both really liked a Artic Silver 2007 Turbo, very clean low mileage car. The price of this car was more than I wanted to spend for a first Porsche, but they gave us a very good trade in allowance for our trade-in and the finance person found us exceptionally good used financing for this automobile. I am 63 years old and have bought many different cars, I like cars, this was the best purchase experience I have ever had, period. The whole time was pleasant without having to endure the typical high pressure sales tactics of many dealers trying to rush you into a quick decision. Scott has followed up with us and answered all questions no matter how trivial or complicated. I like to do my own homework and research which can take me several months and involves a few visits for test drives and to discuss options.. And in the case of this car (911 S) placing the order from the factory. "Usually" what I find is that the dealer and sales process/goals tend to get in the way of how I like to make my selections and decisions which is at my own pace. If someone tries to "close" me I'm through with them.. I'm very happy to say it was a very relaxed and pleasurable experience from initial contact to drive away.....I like to communicate typically though email on details and negotiations and that was all accommodated timely and professionally by Cory and Walters.. So at the risk of sounding to glowing, I readily recommend Both Walters and Cory Williams if you are in the market for a Porsche and want a no hassle experience. More

I met Tim about a year before I bought my 911. I was there just looking. He was very easy to work with and I felt no pressure. To top it off they delivered flatbed it to my door! The dealership at Walters is by far the best choice IMO. I have 4 dealerships within 100 miles of me and Walters is not the closest one. After setting an appointment with Jerry, I arrived to find the 2 cars I was interested in, waiting for me in the front, ready to test drive. I ended up liking 2 different cars, and with Pete Laban's help, he's the sales manager, I was able to get a great deal on one of those cars, which turned out to be the perfect car for me. Pete came out of his office and personally assisted in the negotiations, and the entire process was very fair and transparent. I never felt pressured and I never felt like they were trying to rip me off. The very first deal they offered me was very good, and they still worked with me from there. Signing paperwork with Andy Bartoli, the finance manager, was very smooth and professional and painless. Jerry Hinds delivered the car to me perfectly, a beautiful 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera S, and he has since followed up several times to make sure everything is still perfect.
