A short time later, Ii cancelled the order because I wanted to wait for information on the upcoming 991GTS. Many salespeople would have been upset at the loss of a quick sale, but Bob took it in stride. He said not to worry, he'd let me know all about the GTS as soon as he had the information. He was as good as his word, and promised me I'd be his first order when the GTS became available. I've now ordered that car for January delivery. I'm not thrilled about the standard wheel choices on the model, and Bob is working with me to arrange an alternative. You can't ask for more. On every purchase or lease I've also worked with Pete Laban as the sales manager. I've never met a friendlier or more knowledgeable person in that position. Walter's general manager, Ed McRae, is also first rate. He's always friendly and informative. I can't help but like him, even if I can never manage to catch him on the track at a Porsche Club event! Emergency service required to continue trip home. Cindy and Conrad were more than helpful when my Boxster broke down (heater valve and water pump leak).
