Bad understanding of the high end brand customer service. Few weeks ago I stopped by Porsche of Princeton, randomly I end up by Asian looking sales person, which name I don't remember. I can consider myself a Few weeks ago I stopped by Porsche of Princeton, randomly I end up by Asian looking sales person, which name I don't remember. I can consider myself as a car guy and I did race on the national level in not a long past, my questions were precise and particular as I was looking for new car for my wife. My choice was between Porsche Cayenne and new X5 but my sales person lough at me trying to tell me that those crossovers don’t compete with each other. He was trying to explain to me that he is selling something so extraordinary, that he forgot the simple word of “brand”. The man was not trained enough to talk about leasing options, residual value, money factors and instead of informing me about the absence of manager/finance/leasing person he started to look tired of me and unhappy of my visit. When he took next step (probable trying to insult me this time) suggesting that I should get a Toyota Rav4 for my wife “because they are good cars” I had to leave the dealership. I did not see anybody else except the person by the desk in the center of the showroom; I came early, most likely before lunch as my salesman was chewing something by his desk maybe I came at wrong time. We move down to Princeton now but I guess for the business with Porsche will travel back to Upper Saddle River. More
Excellent Excellent I had stopped visiting the dealership three years ago because it was terrible and I was ready to purchase my new Cayenne from Ray Catena in Edison a 4 I had stopped visiting the dealership three years ago because it was terrible and I was ready to purchase my new Cayenne from Ray Catena in Edison a 45 minute drive from my home in Robbinsville instead of Princeton Porsche which is 15 minutes away. But as i was driving in Rt. 1 last Thursday I decided to stop in and see if anything had changed, besides the building. WELL to my surprise I saw a smiling receptionist and pleasant people around. I met Alexander ( Sales ) I explained what I was looking for and my disappointment of previous dealership management, service etc. he then introduced me to Nelson Piers, Sales Manager, what a guy within 15 minutes found me the Cayenne that I wanted made the deal and that was it. No back and forth negotiations and waste of time, straight forward honest guy. Yesterday 12/29/18 I picked up my new Cayenne, another pleasant visit. I want to congratulate Nelson for his Professionalism and friendliness as well as Alexander, Dennis Woo, Michael Laskowski and the beautiful young lady Tiffany finance mgr. Congratulation to all for gaining back a previously disappointed customer. I would also like to Congratulate the General Manager for selecting people like the above mentioned and take good care of them, they are the ones that bring success. We just had it in for its first scheduled service (complimentary) and learned that their service department matches the excellence of the sales department. We live about a half hour from the the dealership. They picked up the Macan, left a loaner and returned the Macan the same day. After the initial inspection, the technician called to let us know the vehicle was thoroughly checked and to make sure that we didn't have any concerns. More

From the time that I pull up my vehicle for service, I am immediately greeted with a genuine smile and assisted as needed by Danny. He is always a breath of sunshine! Brett Tokar, has been my service advisor for the past few years and he is so very knowledgeable and helpful. I recently received a tire message and happened to be very close to the dealership. I phoned to see if I could just drop the car by to verify the reason for the warning. I ended up having a nail and also was in need of front tires. Brett took me on the spot without an appointment and never fails to accommodate me. Especially if a loaner is required. He always diligently follows up to ensure that my vehicle is operating properly and always offers his services if needed. I will remain a life long customer! Excellent product, excellent service! I engaged Princeton Porsche ("PP") to preform a pre-purchase inspection ("PPI") of a vehicle First ever review of a dealership and very disappointed. I engaged Princeton Porsche ("PP") to preform a pre-purchase inspection ("PPI") of a vehicle I wanted to purchase. Without informing me, they gave the PPI to the owner of the subject vehicle, who in turn, provided it to other prospective buyers. I would NEVER have engaged PP to do the PPI had they disclosed it would be turned over. Worse, PP ackowledged that they normally disclose the PPI would be shared, but despite that fact that such disclosure wasnt done here, would not refund the price for PPI. Bad experience and won't be back. More
