Dishonest Sales department. I'm in the market for a 911 4S or 4 GTS. Twice now I made a test drive appointment with the Sales department, drove up there, only to find they said I'm in the market for a 911 4S or 4 GTS. Twice now I made a test drive appointment with the Sales department, drove up there, only to find they said the car was sold (but later called and said it was a mistake), or that the car was being worked on. They just lied to me to try to get me to test drive another car. Given so many other great dealerships nearby in Fremont, Walnut Creek, etc not sure why I'd bother again with a company that outright lies. They need to get their act together. More
I bought my car here 10 years ago. I appreciated the dealership and the service they provided over the years. This place has gone down the drain over the last two years. The serv I appreciated the dealership and the service they provided over the years. This place has gone down the drain over the last two years. The service representatives have a bad attitude and are simply rude. They hang up on you, and/or put you on hold for ever. Customer does not matter anymore in Porsche of Livermore. I would never buy a car from them or take my car there for service. More
Working with David and Najib was a pleasure. No pressure sales pitches and they had the best product at the best price. These two guys are rockstars. I’ll be back. No pressure sales pitches and they had the best product at the best price. These two guys are rockstars. I’ll be back. More
Talked to Daniel on the phone about buying a cayman GT4. Said come on down and the price was $129k. I knew a markup would be part of this with the market. Got to the dealer and never saw Daniel but Ter GT4. Said come on down and the price was $129k. I knew a markup would be part of this with the market. Got to the dealer and never saw Daniel but Terry greeted me. Terry stated the mark up was $50k. Back and forth he asked what i wanted to pay and i explained cash deal. He said he would work with me and would put it down on paper and be back. He came back and slid a piece of paper with a price of $179k . I went to public school but $129k + $50k is $179k. What happened to working with me and adjusting. Typical sales guy. Ruined a relationship as i will never visit this dealer again. We buy a lot of cars but this would be our first new porsche. Moving on to another dealer. Poor service and poor comms. Disappointed as i have heard decent things about this dealer. Maybe Terry just the issue or maybe he just dont care about people. Bad vibe for me. More
Sad to say they lack customer service in this facility. I have dealt with many dealerships in different locations and brands. Porsche of Livermore is pretty bad in terms of customer service. One sales p I have dealt with many dealerships in different locations and brands. Porsche of Livermore is pretty bad in terms of customer service. One sales person said they will call the next day to tell me if General Manager will approve my offer on a GT3. Then I went online to get a quote on my used Panamera GTS. The sales manager said I have to bring it in to show him when I find time. I have been texting him several times, no response. Another encounter.. I went to the store, saw a new Taycan. Young sales person asks if I had an appt. He was just sitting there in the office! I said no, I will just look. Then I asked him questions about difference on a 2020 and 2021. he said, no difference at all, just the car play. That is inaccurate. What did it for me was , he answered my question, then went back to office and just sat there. Like he didn't want to sell me a car. It is very disappointing. More
Back in November 2019 I took delivery of a 992 Carrera. I was sold on an extended warranty, clear bra, & "ceramic" coating. The clear bra had multiple issues with hazing & bubbles - so I had to have it r I was sold on an extended warranty, clear bra, & "ceramic" coating. The clear bra had multiple issues with hazing & bubbles - so I had to have it redone twice by the dealership. The job was actually worse the second time so I requested a refund & I decided to have the work done elsewhere. It took OVER 2 MONTHS to get my refund! I had Carzwerk in Fremont remove the clear bra & they ended up finding KNIFE CUTS all over the front end of my car from the dealerships installer using a razor blade to cut the PPF. They also found that the dealership slapped a sealant on the car & called it "ceramic" coating without doing any prep. There was still adhesive marks all over the car from the transport film from the factory. It was $5k wasted!! I decided I didn't want a brand new car with damage inflicted by the dealer. So I sold the car & reordered. My mistake as I went through Porsche of Livermore again. As I awaited my second 992. I requested a refund of my extended warranty. It took THREE MONTHS to receive! Once I took delivery of my second 992 Carrera S in September of 2020. Needless to say - I did not buy any additional warranty or PPF work for my car through the dealer. I tried my best to maintain a good relationship with this dealer over the years. I gave them the benefit of the doubt & continued doing business with them buying cars. I even inquired on buying another 911 with them AFTER going through all these headaches. Regardless - it's hard to find good customer service these days - and I've come to realize that you will not find that at Porsche of Livermore. Loyalty & second chances will get you nowhere with them. I highly recommend working with the neighboring dealerships before doing any business with this dealership. The GM Kevin Hanschke could careless about establishing long term relationships with loyal customers who come back time & time again to order cars through him. Even AFTER damaging a brand new car. At the very least; if you decide to buy your next Porsche through PoL, do yourself a favor & DO NOT BUY an extended warranty or PPF work. This dealership is an embarrassment to the Porsche brand. If you want to purchase a car online just go away. I offered to purchasee one of their car and waited days for quote while I was paying cash. They sold it to a walk-in person during the week-end. Went el This is based on the service department only. Went in for tire repair and was told I needed four new tires and the tire could not be repaired. Went elsewhere and they fixed one tire. Lost a little bit of trust in this encounter. Another time I was booked for recall on my 2014. They booked me and did not have the part. They recommended I still come in for service which I would not do as I only needed the recall fix. Second questionable move on their part in my opinion. I know get serviced at outside at independent auto repair shops as well as outside tire stores. Also, lots of time on hold, no answering on phone call etc. More
Service Dept. Lacks Honest Communication with the Customer I am not the one to write a terrible review for anyone but this Prosche Dealership's customer service in the service department forced me to write thi I am not the one to write a terrible review for anyone but this Prosche Dealership's customer service in the service department forced me to write this review. I have owned a Porsche Cayenne diesel since 2014, bought in Fremont but always serviced in Livermore. My car was in the dealership this past Thursday for oil change and to add the 'Ad Blue' required for the diesel models. And today is Tuesday - my car is asking for Ad Blue again !!! So, I called the dealership and as usual with some excuse they could not come up with a straight answer. This is the second time this has happened. About a year ago, my wife took the car to the dealership for Ad Blue and instead of topping it off they added just enough (is what Kayla at the service department told me). The car barely went for 2 days and it stalled. The car had to be towed in. The second customer service rep in the service department - John - is always full of excuses on why they were not able to do something right the last time the car was in for a service. Secondly, never upfront about charges! One oil change can cost $350 and another oil change could cost $650. Depends on what "Special" they have which you will not know until you are ready to walk out of the dealership. I am done with the dealership. They are not getting anymore money from them! More
