Very satisfied with experience. They were very professional and responsive to my individual needs. There was no pressure and willing to work with me to get the deal done. professional and responsive to my individual needs. There was no pressure and willing to work with me to get the deal done. More
I purchased a certified used Cayman from Steve Postol and had a very positive buying experience. As this was my first experience buying a car in another state and 3000 miles away, it was critical that I loc had a very positive buying experience. As this was my first experience buying a car in another state and 3000 miles away, it was critical that I located a dealer that understood my requirements and could work with me to close a deal without any headaches. After finding the right car Steve Postol took me through the vehicle and got me out on the road. He had a no nonsense approach and was completely low key. Our negotiation was quick and Steve made sure that the deal worked well for me -- including helping me address the logistics of getting the car to the west coast. With the car now safely in my garage, I can say that I'm a very satisfied customer. I would definitely recommend using Steve if you have that special car in mind... More
This is what a Porsche dealer should be. They are truly working away from the "stealership" reputation that nearly every Porsche dealer I've been to has had where they don't give a crap about your car, con working away from the "stealership" reputation that nearly every Porsche dealer I've been to has had where they don't give a crap about your car, concerns, etc, but only your $$$. I walked in one day at Towson just to look around and maybe get a new Cayman R poster and ended up talking and building rapport with the ever so friendly and awesome general manager. We talked about our cars of present and past, shared laughs, built a better customer to dealer relationship. Kudos man! These are true "car guys" and understand what the mod-happy customer is going through i.e. not voiding your warranty or blaming a transmission oil leak on your new exhaust. (Len-Stoler tried this on me, I wouldn't have it though. They try to help the customer as much as possible and only give you the parts you NEED, not what gets the dealer the most $$$. Just today I called the service department and spoke with Kurt to provide me some torque specifications and he was more than happy to help me out. This aided me greatly while doing my Bilstein coilover install in my garage on my 2006 Cayman S. I've asked other dealers in the past for torque specs on headers bolts and other things but no dice from the other Porsche "stealerships." And it's funny because the dealer who was least helpful was the one I bought my car from!!! Man I would have much rather given the profits of my purchase to Towson :/ I have been really dreading taking my car in for scheduled maintenance due to the costs and quality of the job done. But at Towson, I honestly just can't wait to give them my keys and open my wallet to them because I know that my beloved will be in good hands. But to be fair, I just want it to be clear that I have NOT taken my car in for service there yet or have had any warranty work done. So take the workshop praise I've given for what it's worth. But still, I can't wait to take my car in. Hopefully everything that I think these guys are will come to pass. Last note, if you have a choice between Len Stoler and Towson, even if you have to drive extra miles. Go to Towson, I will NEVER EVER again go back to Len Stoler. They are a bunch of con artists with big fishing rods casting out after your wallets. PS If any of the Towson employees read this, you guys rock, and keep rockin'! Just remember to always think about the customers before yourselves and you'll be around in business forever. Cheers More
Was looking for used 911 C4 in order to replace Boxster S and BMW 335xi. Porsche website showed Towson had the desired car. Talked several times with Phil Woodley; basically negotiated a deal over the phone re: price, financing, etc. Phil was very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Drove Boxster (trade-in -didn't quite get the price that I wanted, based on NADA estimates of trade values for my Boxster) to MD from CT and completed the transaction that day. Car was ready to go. Phil went over all details of the car and CPO warranty items; very thorough. No hard push to take dealer options (paint protection, wheel coverage,Dent Wizard etc.). Overall, very satisfied with experience at Porsche of Towson. More
We are not local to the Towson area and yet were very pleasantly surprised to experience what is obviously a well established high standard of knowledge and customer service. We had located the Porsche pleasantly surprised to experience what is obviously a well established high standard of knowledge and customer service. We had located the Porsche Cayenne we wanted via the Porsche website (also excellent) and drove four hours to Towson in order to make the purchase. It would have been easy for Steve Postol to view us as a customer he may never see again and push us out the door quickly. This was far from the case. He spent the time with us to acquaint us with the vehicle fully and even took some extra time to assist in some specific areas where my wife or I needed some additional information. Steve and Porsche of Towson in general came off as a class act. More
I purchased my vehicle in Arlington Va, but retired in Baltimore a few months later. Porsche Hunts Valley was ridiculous and I almost sold my car because of the poor service. Thank God for the OUSTANDING Baltimore a few months later. Porsche Hunts Valley was ridiculous and I almost sold my car because of the poor service. Thank God for the OUSTANDING staff here and I can appreciate my car with no worries. Porsche of Towson is a "gift from above" and I am more than pleased with my selection. I have told many friends about the dealership and are convinced when I rave of the suberb service. Sales got me to buy a Cayenne and Porsche of Towson's service will keep me. More
My husband and I went to the dealership looking for a Cayenne. We met with Phil Woodley, an extremely friendly and helpful sales person. Phil took the time to thoroughly answer our questions. Although I had owned two Porsches in the past and understood the superlative nature of the car, this time I had thought I was ready for a sedan. I stopped in the dealership almost by accident, and me understood the superlative nature of the car, this time I had thought I was ready for a sedan. I stopped in the dealership almost by accident, and met Phil Woodley, who has a quiet professionalism mixed with a sincere love of the car (he himself drives a Boxter S). Within a few test drives and conversations I was back to Porsche, and expected that I would be getting either a new or used car from Towson. In the end I bought a Cayman S from another dealership, but only because it had just the car I wanted. I am thankful to Phil and will be returning to have my car serviced here. While the dealership (BMW of Towson) is new to Porsche (they are just finishing a Porsche of Towson showroom on the same lot) two of their mechanics are Porsche trained and came from another dealership, which no longer has the franchise. Steve Postol was also quite helpful. All in all an excellent experience. More
My wife and I just picked up our new boxster on Friday. I must say that working with Steve Postol was the best professional experience we have ever experienced. He knew the brand and answered every question must say that working with Steve Postol was the best professional experience we have ever experienced. He knew the brand and answered every question we had. Financing the car was a breeze and we were out the door within an hour. I must say that I looked at many different porsche dealers throughout the area, and Porsche of Towson was hands down the best deal. That is why we drove down from Pennsylvania to make the purchase. We will definetly be back in the future. More
I give Porsche of Towson the highest marks for my overall buying experience. Steve Postal was extremely professional in assisting me in finding the right vehicle for my needs. I have purchased several Porsc buying experience. Steve Postal was extremely professional in assisting me in finding the right vehicle for my needs. I have purchased several Porsche vehicles from another dealership and I can say that the team at Porsche of Towson made it an easy and pleasurable experience from vehicle selection, review of options, pricing and financing. Though Porsche of Towson is new to the Porsche brand they operated as real Porsche veterans. I look forward to buying my next vehicle from Porsche of Towson. More
