Service department damages car every time! I purchased a custom install radar detector and had it installed before I took delivery of the car. I also purchased and had installed before delivery I purchased a custom install radar detector and had it installed before I took delivery of the car. I also purchased and had installed before delivery a set of winter wheels and tires. I took the summer wheels that they had removed home so that I could clean, wax and prepare them for winter storage. When I got home I noticed a chip in one of my summer wheels. I called the service department to complain and set up an appointment to have it repaired. I was told to bring in the wheel. When I arrived with the wheel, I was completely ignored and had to search for someone to assist me in checking in. They finally had me put the wheel in an area of the service department and against my better judgement they told me they would send it out for repair instead of exchanging it. A week or so later I notice a tear in the driver door weather seal where the person installing the radar detector would lay to install the detector. I called again and set up an appointment. At that time I questioned whether or not they would have to order the door seal. The service man told me that they should have plenty of those in stock and would not be necessary. I also requested to have the radar display moved since is was blocking the rear view mirror and to touch up a minor scratch. I bring the car in and this time I was greeted a person but not sure what his position was. I explained with the help of my salesman what I needed to have done as well as put on the summer wheels which included the "repaired" wheel. When I got home I received a call stating that the work was done however they had to order the door seal (DUH!). I picked up the car right at closing (there was a gentleman who was kind enough to allow me to pick up the car since I live over an hour away). On my way home I noticed that the radar detector had not been moved (even though the ticket said it was) and when I got home I found that they did not repair the scratch. I checked out the repaired wheel and it was worse than when I dropped it off! I had a gouge around the edge from when the removed the tire, there was grit imbedded in the paint, the paint edge was jagged on one spoke and there is a white over spray on parts of the wheel. I dropped of the car today once again to have them do what was suppose to be done on the previous appointment and once again drop of the damaged wheel. I insisted on a new wheel, not a replacement. We will see what they do for me. I picked up my winter wheels to clean and wax them and don't you know two of the wheels have nicks and scratches! I called to complain and I was questioned whether or not I damaged the wheels! It is obvious that they were damaged due to carelessness while off the car (they had them for 2 months). Now I have to deal with that problem! I will update and let you know if the resolve the issues to my satisfaction and hope nothing else gets wrecked while my car is there! More

Had my new Boxster S in for an exhaust install two weeks ago. Chuck Turck, the service director, is amazing! Going to the Exchange for service is as good as it gets. I live 3 hours away in NW Indiana and pass right by 2 other Porsche dealers that are MUCH closer and easier to get to for me on the way every time I go to the Exchange. You would only go to the best hospital if you needed surgery, going to the Exchange is like taking your car to the Mayo Clinic of Porsche service. Nice work, keep it up. Aaron More
I recently purchased a 2011 Cayenne from David McCann. I simply cannot believe that one of the negative reviews of this dealership involves the same sales rep I dealt with. From the time I first visited th simply cannot believe that one of the negative reviews of this dealership involves the same sales rep I dealt with. From the time I first visited the Porsche Exchange to the time I took delivery of my new Cayenne, I probably met or spoke with David McCann at least 8 times. I have never experienced a higher level of service, attentiveness, and responsiveness than what Mr. McCann provided to myself and my wife. What really impressed me was that even after our order for the vehicle was placed and our deposit taken, Mr. McCann called on several occasions to not only apprise us of the vehicle's status, but to offer his time to thoroughly teach us about the vehicle we were purchasing and to tour the dealership and learn about the entire Porsche line. The overriding feeling I got after dealing with McCann and the Porsche Exchange is that these people truly believe in the product they are representing...they aren't just selling it. They want you to know everything about it, and to recognize the technological marvel that Porsche products are. Once you spend time learning about it, you realize that you can never NOT have a Porsche in your life..it is simply too special of a vehicle. I am a financial trader from downtown Chicago and have recommended McCann and the Porsche exchange to no less than 3 of my friends over the past few months. Although they did not purchase a vehicle when the visited the dealership, they told me they had a great meeting with McCann and will most definitely call him when they are ready to purchase (they are waiting for 2012's..) Before I visited the Porsche Exchange, other dealerships I visited tried to underhandedly mark-up the finance rate and make juice on financing acquired directly from Porsche. Those guys would be at home selling Hyundai's or Dodge's...not Porsche's. Porsche Exchange was upfront and transparent about the entire deal. I NEVER ONCE felt as though I was being forced or pressured or being worked over like other places make you feel. There is no question people can feel 'disrespected' if someone doesn't fall all over them and treat them like a king when they walk into a high-end car dealership. But if you're a grown-up and have no self-image issues, you will be happy if you are simply treated with respect and honestly. In that sense, Porsche Exchange and David McCann have earned my repeat Porsche business with no caveats. More

The sales representatives were very knowledgeable about the vehicles and took time to answer all of our questions and show us various options available on the Cayenne. During our second visit, we briefly spoke numbers with one of the sales reps and were given a ball-park number for the Cayenne. Later in the week, I called one of the sales reps to set up a time to meet with full intent on purchasing a Cayenne S. I left work early to make the trip from the loop to the Porsche Exchange. After arriving at the dealership and waiting about 2 hours to talk to the sales rep, we were told that they couldn’t sell us a car for anything less than sticker. This of course took us by surprise as this number was far from what we had briefly discussed during our prior visit. The Porsche Exchange said that they would call us the next day to talk further about numbers – but they never called. I fault the management at the Porsche Exchange for not staffing their business with employees empowered to negotiate and make sales during their listed sales hours. If you want someone to waste your time – the Porsche Exchange is for you. If you want to buy a car at a dealership that values your time go elsewhere. In the end, we ended having a great experience at Napleton Porsche in Westmont and ended up purchasing a Cayenne S from Napleton less than a week later. More
Purchased a certified Carrera S from Porsche Exchange outside Chicago. Called and discussed the car with the sales person, Tony, several times and had him send extra photos. Told me he had all service re outside Chicago. Called and discussed the car with the sales person, Tony, several times and had him send extra photos. Told me he had all service records, books and keys. Flew to Chicago to check out. Promptly picked me up at the airport, but when I entered the dealership no one would talk to me and the receptionist treated me like a bum. Car looked fine, didn't get chance to drive it much, but Larry (sales person Tony dumped me on because he was out) assured me they would go thru the multi point checks for certification prior to shipping down. Several days went by before they said it was ready to ship. When I received it it did not have all sets of keys, fog lights did not work, pcm was out and it rode a bit rough. So much for certification. Called Tony the sales person who continued to assure me he would send keys and records, but never did, finally avoiding my calls. Took the car to Tulsa dealership who gladly repaired it under warranty with the exception of the PCM which was $2500 and extra key $250 ea. Upon changing out the tires they literally found the words BENT written in the inside of two of the wheels...no wonder it rode rough. They were color coated HRE wheels and it cost me $1800 each to replace. Worst experience at a dealership I have ever had. All Porsche dealerships I have dealt with in the past have held themselves to a high standard as I thought this one would being a Premiere dealership. Any way I would recommend skipping these guys if you are seeking a quality certified porsche. Really disappointing. Caveat: This happened 2 years ago, I am now told Tony and Larry the two stooges I dealt with are now gone. The finance guy I dealt with tried very hard but had no idea what was going on. At times they seemed iconvenienced that I was there. Let's hope things are changed now, because I won't be back around them to know. Sad too because they have alot of great cars. Bought two more since, but not from them. You can't please everybody maybe it was just my turn. More

I am well studied on the vehicle so I did not expect to learn much. The experience was wonderful. Far better than any other Porsche dealer that I have worked with. Most importantly the deal they gave me was outstanding. I know the proverbial saying is "I got a great deal." I really believe that I did get an un-believable deal. Mike was top notch and I highly recommend him to anyone purchasing a Porsche. Two other Porsche dealers were much closer to my home, so it proves that I would go out of my way to purchase another car from the Exchange. More

Semersky was not only knowledgable about the Porsche products, but offered a friendly, non-aggressive and matter of fact attitude about the vehicles in question. Although I did not end up buying the vehicle from Semersky or his dealership (I ended up buying out my old lease), I found his insight invaluable. I would certainly recommend using this dealership to all who are looking for a Porsche and some other cool exotics he has listed. I am certainly calling him when I am ready for my next vehicle. A++; and I am a picky guy! More
The Porsche Exchange dealership and my salesman Larry LaCoste provided the "total experience." Buying a car (any, not just a high end German marque) should be a good experience from start to finish. Go LaCoste provided the "total experience." Buying a car (any, not just a high end German marque) should be a good experience from start to finish. Good first contact, follow-up contact, allowing time to get to know the car, striking a deal, closing, service. Larry and the team nailed in on all accounts. My first email enquiring on a car was responded to w/i several hours by a real person, not a computer program. The car was fairly priced and Larry knew he only needed to explain features of the car and allow the car to sell itself. No pressure, no silly sales tactics. The Exchange team is passionate about the cars they sell and seem to like and respect each others. I had been recently to a dealer where one salesman had a "breakdown" on the sales floor (apparently he was being teased by a colleague); at another dealer the salesman was clearly afraid of the manager, who seemed to run the place like Guantanamo. None of this nonsense at Porsche Exchange. More
I bought my first Porsche from these guys. I am a car nut, so I am very picky about the dealers. My expectations were very high. I have very little patience for xx. OK, I have zero patience. I am so pick nut, so I am very picky about the dealers. My expectations were very high. I have very little patience for xx. OK, I have zero patience. I am so picky that I have been known to walk out of the dealership, if I did not feel that coffee was fresh enough. Hey, if I am spending tens of thousands on the car, you can afford to keep the coffee fresh and dealership clean like a surgery room. There were four dealers I was considering and once I got to meet Faris, there was no doubt in my mind that this will be the dealership for me. He owns the same car I bought, so he knew every little thing about the car. The whole time I felt that Faris and Michael and couple of other guys were interested in one thing - what I want. No sales pushes, nothing. I asked them for a certain configuration, they came back with a car that met the configuration. I changed my mind asked for another configuration, they found that one too. Mind you, neither of the configurations I wanted were on their lot, they all belonged to their competitors. Never ever did I hear them say anything back to me but "let me see where I can find one for you". Once I decided 100% what I wanted, they did dealer trade, got the car on the truck. Once I got to the dealership, I probably met every person working there. I bet if I called now the service manager and told him my name, he would know right away what I drive. Bottom line: if you love cars and want to be treated like a car enthusiast that you are, there is only one place in Chicago you should go to - Porsche Exchange. More
