I purchased from Porsche Bethesda because they made the best offer after I emailed several dealers asking for the out-the-door price on a particular special-order car. After accepting the offer, the dealer produced precisely as promised; no effort to subsequently change the deal, add last-minute add-ons, or fudge in any way. They also accepted my special order as proffered. They did not suggest accessories or inflated customizations. Finally, upon delivery, Porsche Bethesda assented to my request to transfer the car to me in the shortest possible time, without any sales presentations on aftermarket products, insurance offers, or gimmicks. On delivery day, I was in and out of the dealership in c. 30 minutes. I signed a slew of standard papers, was given a cursory review of the car's features (I didn't require anything else), and left. The Brand Ambassador (ie sales associate) was also refreshingly and uncommonly knowledgeable about the product. (Who knew that, appearances to the contrary, only one rear fog light is intended to illuminate? The owner's manual is silent on this fact.)
