Took care of me on my road trip My wife and I were traveling from Lake Oswego to the coast, then along the coast and back inland to Albany, OR. We stopped at McMinnville to see the Evergreen Aviation Museum, and when we were leaving my wife noticed a clicking sound from the right rear. It turned out to be a screw embedded in the tread of my right rear tire. This was on Day 30 of a 33-Day road trip. Choosing the best option for repair, tire replacement, and trying to get home on schedule was challenging. I called John Schindel, the Service Manager at Sunset Porsche and asked quite a few questions; John was very helpful and agreed to .get me in for service if I was able to get to Beaverton. Fortunately, my tire held pressure, and we arrived mid-afternoon. A replacement tire wouldn't be available for a couple of days. We met with Service Advisor Gabe Wiley and I requested a temporary repair to allow us to travel home. We were treated great by all employees at Sunset Porsche, and the temporary repair worked fine. I ordered a new tire for local delivery and installation; it was installed the next business day after I arrived home. More
