We arrived a little early and the Customer area was inviting and comfortable. The car went to the Service Tech right at the appointed hour. We waited patiently and were pleasantly surprised when Scot came over and explained it was nothing more than a drivers seat airbag sensor calibration. I paid $200 for the service, but the experience was priceless. Thanks for putting the customer first. Jim Weck More
Well taken care off including 3 campaigns Lauren was very helpful; it did take longer than I had hoped, which is tough when no loaner vehicle is provided... it was 4 days in total, thanks. Too expensive and does not follow directions I normally do not do this nor leave bad reviews, but it has been a few days and is still on my mind. I am so disappointed and displeased on my first s I normally do not do this nor leave bad reviews, but it has been a few days and is still on my mind. I am so disappointed and displeased on my first servicing experience at the Porsche Perimeter location. The Macan S was bought new on July, 2017. Over 1.5 years has passed and the first servicing was $590+! The more I think about it and the more I speak to others that work on Porsches state that I completely got taken advantage of. #1) I told the servicing department specifically that I did not need an annual service for a vehicle under 10K miles. Somehow, they convinced me that the car would break down, flooded, etc. if not checked and parts exchanged, so I went ahead and did it only to see the invoice after with $374 charged for “coils”. This part is usually at 20K miles and all that was needed was an oil change which is expensive 'as is' by itself, which I expect for a Porsche. But $590+ for a vehicle that's been garage kept, driven only 2-3 times per week, and under 10,000 miles? I could understand if it was 50,000 miles and even if the servicing department told me not to do an annual service, I would; however does not make sense for a car under 10,000 miles at all! All the unnecessary charges and services were not needed, but this is only the start. I was extremely shocked to be honest where first servicing should be only an oil change, but instead I ended up paying for parts/services I did not need. #2) Not all too serious, however serious enough. When you first purchase the vehicle, there is a display screen protector on the navigation screen that is on all new cars. I had it on there on purpose and someone just had to take it off! It was not even peeling or anything, why take it off?! Now fingerprints and dust will accumulate much easier without it and I will have to purchase an actual screen protector now! It was left on there for a reason. #3) One of the disappointing factors (which is my fault since I didn't think straight at the moment) was I told them they could do the courtesy wash, however, it was machine washed which I should have known. I have never put the car through a machine so now you could see the swirl scratches from the machine or whatever they use on the car that has always been hand washed (I am so angry at myself). #4) After paying for the servicing, I literally stood and looked at my car in front of 3-4 advisors for about 5 minutes, wondering why no one will give me the key to leave in the front. No one asked me anything and finally I thought, maybe the key was in the car and I just go in and leave. Nevertheless, I looked like I was stealing my own car, not knowing if I have to ask someone or what I have to do. Finally, someone came out to tend to another car and I asked them. Took me back in and gave me my key to leave. Don't get me wrong, everyone at the facility is nice and makes great conversation once I initiate it, but I am the consumer, and so I thought it was common courtesy that they should ignite the conversation to see if I need any help. #5) Lastly, and most of all the the reason for all these negative connotations. My car still smelled new and clean (as stated before; garage kept and driven only 2-3 times per week). It has been approximately 5 days since I took it to servicing and every time I get in the car it smells like an absolute dirty rag. At first, I thought maybe someone left a dirty rag in the car, so I looked everywhere, but nothing. I know they cannot use a new rag every time, and I understand that the water is recycled, but my goodness it actually gets me so upset that the smell still has not gone away and I just wonder why they had to treat my car as well as myself like that. I should not have to drive around with the windows open trying to get the smell out to the point I don't want to drive it. This is supposed to be Porsche - the leading, elite, brand of vehicles known for reputation and customer service. Overall, I was overly displeased by the amount charged, unnecessary servicing, and how the entire situation was handled. I have referred many people to the location when I first purchased the car, so many of my co-workers, friends, family all purchased vehicles from there. Not sure if I could recommend them for servicing at this location though. More
