Even service visits are fun Brought in my car for a service visit which was handled very efficiently by the staff. Undertrained / Benighted Sales Advisor and Technician The vehicle was taken to the shop due to Jerking/hesitating, check engine and other error codes, the same language was used over the phone as well as The vehicle was taken to the shop due to Jerking/hesitating, check engine and other error codes, the same language was used over the phone as well as in person with Sergey. Few days after diagnosing I was been told by the SA that replacing the battery will solve all the issues, I did approve the job and it cost me around 850 out of my pocket as it was not covered under warranty. When I asked the SA twice about Jerking/hesitating he said he was not been told about that…and that took another turn…he said now transfer case needs to be replaced. Sept 14th , Right after picking up my vehicle not even a mile down the road all the error codes started populating the screen again. My Audio system was also acting up I couldn’t control the volume neither navigate to different files after driving a bit it seems it was reset and started functioning normally. After reaching home that night I did txt the SA about the same. I was told to bring the vehicle again for diagnostics and the SA was unsure how long will it take to get fixed. Hearing this I requested for a loaner car, the SA refused as it is not for the extended warranty customers …that didn’t sound right, when I was signing the invoice I saw my ext warranty company paid around $3200( I would like to request for that invoice as well ) and I paid total of $1230.91 . Despite paying so much / being WITHOUT a car for almost a MONTH/issues are still existing/ and now getting the car back in the shop again, god knows how much longer will it take this time. I simply asked the SA to provide me with Porsche Company/dealer policy reflecting the same refusal and to my surprise, he said it's not written anywhere it seems he just pulled it out of thin air. This is the longest email I ever wrote to a car dealer so you can only imagine my level of frustration, all I wanted is my vehicle fixed in a timely manner with Porsche Standards. I never had this issue with the previous SA issac who helped us since day 1. I am an owner of multiple cars. I take all five to their respective dealership quite often for service and I have never experienced this ever with any of them. I am in a state of perplexed with the kind of benighted SA and Technician your esteemed organization is having, I am highly concerned if my vehicle was misdiagnosed......its been 3 days after writing ths email to the supervisor i have not yet received any feedback yet... More
20,000 miles service I had a great experience with the service team during my recent visit. Work was done quickly for the estimated price quoted.
