Lack of customer service and follow-up I drove 4hrs from Alabama to purchase a Porsche Macan on 8/6/18 with a pre-approved amount from my bank. As a consumer, I did my part, but your sales I drove 4hrs from Alabama to purchase a Porsche Macan on 8/6/18 with a pre-approved amount from my bank. As a consumer, I did my part, but your sales and finance departments fell short. I presented the proper pre-approved paperwork and contact info, and signed all the necessary document to secure the purchase and for you all to receive the payment. My bank cleared the funds on 8/9/18, but after multiple follow-ups from me, I didn't get an answer from your sales and finance department until this week. I felt like your dealership customer service is lacking and verfiying the check clearance wasn't a priority. There were statements made to me such as "not sure about your type of pre-approval, do you want to finance with us" "we prefer a certified check" before I was allowed to test drive the Macan. Once it was reviewed by your finance rep, everything was in order from me and my bank. After I signed the documents and check, I was told "we will deposit check tonight"(8/6/18/) "we should hear something by Thursday or Friday". Once I left and verified the check clearance with my bank on 8/9/18 and shared info with sales and finance, I was told "we are waiting on your bank", 'we thought it was going to be a wire transfer". I got excuses instead of proactive action like checking verification and calling me back the same day with a response. I could have chosen anywhere to purchase my Macan but I came to your dealership hoping for a good experience and walking out with my new Macan. Instead, I was told "I'm doing you a favor." Actually, my purchase profits you all. On a positive note, your parts department assisted me in customizing my purchase. Anthony and John shared info and cost for mats with red stitching, customizing the wheel color and painting the calipers red. John went above and beyond in ordering mats and getting them the next day and sharing photos via email. He also sent me a detailed invoice on all the charges-labor and parts for wheels and calipers. Info allowed my to make an informed decision and go forward with customizing my Macan. I appreciate John's help. More

He provides very thorough information on the maintenance or repairs needed and offers expert opinion on what needs to be done giving me confidence that my vehicles are in the best hands possible at the dealership. He always follows through with communications and is always very friendly due to his people skills talent. With the appropriate career planning he is destined for promotion in the Jim Ellis network of auto dealerships. He is the best service advisor, on par with Steven Dooley when he was in service department, that I have done business with at Jim Ellis. An exceptional employee who always has time to listen even when he is extremely busy with multiple customers. More

Repair Initially when my husband called about my car overheating and not maintaining cooler fluid they told him they couldn’t get my car in for 5 days, but i Initially when my husband called about my car overheating and not maintaining cooler fluid they told him they couldn’t get my car in for 5 days, but if he could get it towed they would work it in. Then when he called back to let them know it was being towed a serviceman by the name Tony told him he should have called the 800 number and they would have towed it and it would be Monday or Tuesday before they would look at it. He sent a message to save the number so we wouldn’t have problems next time. I told him I had that number and Isaac was my service person and my husband tried to call it first but wasn’t working. He replied he would turn my car over to Isaac on Monday. Isaac took great care of us and got my car fixed and back to me by Wednesday and it was all under warranty. We were just confused about how the first person my husband spoke to in the service department was so unhelpful and rude. We have always received excellent care from everyone since I purchased my car till that time. I was thinking my next car will not be another porsche, but Isaac’s care and prompt responses has changed my mind. He is excellent at what he does and puts the customers first. Can’t say that about the first person or Tony! More

Max is a fantastic service advisor! Service was done within the timeframe provided, loaner was a brand new Cayman and service advisor Max was very courteous, knowledgable and trustworthy Service was done within the timeframe provided, loaner was a brand new Cayman and service advisor Max was very courteous, knowledgable and trustworthy. I felt like the necessary items were taken care of and appreciated a lot that there was no push for finding other stuff to sell me on. Service is not sales in my opinion and that is how my advisor thinks about it too apparently (he could have sold me two new front tires but told me there was more mileage to be gotten from it). I will definitely be back! More
