Horrible experience I had the most unpleasant experience with the Jim Ellis Porsche/Perimeter Porsche dealership in Atlanta. Within 30 days of my purchase the dealer had I had the most unpleasant experience with the Jim Ellis Porsche/Perimeter Porsche dealership in Atlanta. Within 30 days of my purchase the dealer had to re issue my paperwork because I moved to another state. I was repeatedly asked to produce some form of documentation with the prior states info (which may be illegal because I don’t reside there anymore) to prevent them from having to resubmit my registration to my new state. When I stated I would not do that I received a very irate call from Eric Mihrlich the General Manager of the dealership demanding me to return his car or send him an additional $4000, which he stated would be the difference in cost for them to register the car in the new state. Mr. Mihelich was extremely rude and very disrespectful. I told him I would like to speak with the corporate office or someone higher than him and he told me in his exact words “this is my dealership and these are my cars, there is no one higher than me I’m the general manager”. To add injury to insult I did my own research as to the cost of registration in the new state and was given a total that was no where near the $4000 he was demanding. The bigger question here is where did he get this astronomical figure from and if I had paid it where would it have gone? I am big on customer service especially when I am spending my money, no one at the dealership did me a favor by selling me a car so at the very least I expect to be appreciated and respected as a customer. The only person to step in and try to mediate the situation was Carol Duster in the accounting/finance department. She provided me with the Vice Presidents, Rodney Woods, contact info. I immediately contacted him and after about three days he finally contacted me. This conversation was to the bare minimum better than my conversation with the General Manager Eric Mihrlich. Mr. Woods basically sat on the phone and tried to justify Mr. Mihrlich’s behavior by stating he was a bit worried he had a car out there that hadn’t gotten paid for. If he felt that much duress under this situation to disrespect me the way he did then maybe a high level excecutive position is not a great fit for him. When I asked Mr. Woods where did the figure of $4,000 come from he did not have an answer for me. He also told me it was none of my business how he would handle this situation with his employee and if I didn’t want the vehicle that was fine, but never once offered any sort of compensation. He stated they could register the vehicle in the new state, which again that was no favor to me, this could have been done all along but the lack of wanting to resubmit a few pieces of papers turned this car buying experience into a nightmare. This dealership demonstrated the upmost disrespect, lack of appreciation, and customer service that I have ever experienced when purchasing a car. I have purchased vehicles from Mercedes Benz and Jaguar whom provided impeccable customer service. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!!! Sent from my iPhone More
