this place is horrible. i went in to buy my first car and bought a used nissan in oct 2022 and it’s been in the shop 7 different times since then. i was told by the dealersh i went in to buy my first car and bought a used nissan in oct 2022 and it’s been in the shop 7 different times since then. i was told by the dealership “that’s what i get for buying a used car”. i contacted the dealership a day after i bought the car because the check engine light turned on and since then they have been the absolute worst to deal with. if you do buy a car here hopefully there’s no issues with it because they will not fix it! Buyer beware of MARKET ADJUSTMENT. $5,000 for the Sportage Hybrid EX. Was told it's negotiable (I assume to get you in). Market adjustments are above and beyond MSRP. In this case it's $5,000 for the Sportage Hybrid EX. Was told it's negotiable (I assume to get you in). Market adjustments are above and beyond MSRP. In this case it's 15% over MSRP. Don't be a sucker. These dealerships need to be knocked over the head. More
I just bought a new Kia Niro Hybrid from Pomona Kia and I am thrilled with the car and impressed by the Pomona Kia staff. I was greeted by Tristin as I walked in the door and we discussed my needs (Hybrid) h am thrilled with the car and impressed by the Pomona Kia staff. I was greeted by Tristin as I walked in the door and we discussed my needs (Hybrid) he showed me the Niro and a Sportage. The Sportage is amazing but just too big. During my test drive I absolutely fell in love with what would become my new car. It was late and I was getting cranky so I told Tristin we had to finish the sale and paperwork on the next day. Next day I walked into the sales office. Tristin had the day off. I worked with Joe (totally amazing) and I told him I wanted to buy the car and to give me the total price and final numbers that will get me out the door. The only extras I wanted were the interior and exterior protection coating and extended warranty. After a few minutes Joe came out with my numbers and all that was left was to agree on the term of the loan. Next stop was the finance guy. Traditionally I have dreaded dealing with the finance guy because of all the services they try to get you to buy. Not at Kia Pomona. Finance manager was friendly and did everything he could to get my paperwork quickly finished. The Niro already had the exterior and interior protection. All that was left was the extended warranty. Joe quoted me a middle protection level price. Finance showed me the difference between the middle of the road and the premium policy. Premium had better protection and didn’t cost much more so I went with that. 90 minutes and 3,000 signatures on sales documents later I drove home in a spectacular new car. I was extra pleased because I felt I got a fair price and got to work with some amazing people who made sure I was getting the correct car at the best possible rice. More
I purchased a new Forte last week and was very happy with the process. Salesman Kevin Duarte and Manager David Firestone were efficient and polite. They got me a great deal and even went beyond expectations. the process. Salesman Kevin Duarte and Manager David Firestone were efficient and polite. Bad customer service. Have two recalls on vehicle, trunk and airbags. Made appointment and only four weeks later when appointment was available. Service desk very rude an Have two recalls on vehicle, trunk and airbags. Made appointment and only four weeks later when appointment was available. Service desk very rude an dry when answering questions. Everything was a No with an attitude and bad demeanor, when asked how long for the service and was told that could take 1 to 6 hours just for the trunk and the airbags would have to be a different day by appointment only. Called Kia’s Consumer Assistance Center to file a complaint. Will never go back to Pomona Kia and or purchase a vehicle from them, maybe Ford is looking good for my next vehicle. More
DO NOT USE THIS KIA DEALER. GO ELSEWHERE. Went up to buy a car to co-sign for our son. My wife has fairly decent credit of @750 and these people ran her credit SIX lenders hit h GO ELSEWHERE. Went up to buy a car to co-sign for our son. My wife has fairly decent credit of @750 and these people ran her credit SIX lenders hit her credit. She gets emails from credit monitor when someone runs her credit. When she told them to please stop running her credit they got rude. When she asked for a copy of the credit app she signed they refused to give her a copy. Maybe they aren't aware in the state of California that when you sign your name to a document you have the right to a copy. I'm sure a call they will be getting from the attorney general will refresh their memory. The bottom line is this - if you don't mind your credit score getting destroyed because they run your credit so many times , and if you didn't mind signing things and not receiving a copy , and if you don't mind being told to leave because you ask to speak to upper management to get a copy then feel free to go there. Oh yeah , if you don't mind being quoted 11.99 percent interest rate when at a 750 score the average is 4.99 like I just received on a used bmw I pitched a month ago , then feel free to allow these sheisters to do the same to you. My worst experience purchasing car for one main reason upon others, they will pretty much say anything to get you to buy their car. I will start off by saying I reached out in regards to one car that I co upon others, they will pretty much say anything to get you to buy their car. I will start off by saying I reached out in regards to one car that I could only find out their dealership at the time. I specifically asked if that car is sold before I can get in please let me know so I can make other arrangements. I was never told the car sold until I showed up that day. And walked the lot. The specific person I was supposed to meet at that time in the morning per our appointment wasn't even scheduled to work until later that day. Which is fine that's not an issue. I had surveys pushed on me nonstop for over a week calls and emails as well as text. I'm glad I did not fill the surveys out because I was pretty much asked to lie on them. I do Like the car I ended up purchasing but when we discussed maintenance and service I was told I can go to the dealership where I live witch is over an hour away. And now that I have to get a service done I was informed that I cannot do that and I have to take it back to the original dealer. Not only that but upon signing paperwork I apparently paid for a service that I needed to take to another company to coat the carpets in the car but I was already charged for it. I can deal with the carpets not being coated that's fine with me it's all under warranty I don't care the thing that gets me is the lies the things I will say to you or not tell you to get you in the door is wrong. When spending that much money on a car you should be able to trust the company that you're purchasing the car from it's sad that these days you cannot trust anyone it's It's money and that's all they ever see they don't see a customer. I work in customer service and I see that honesty is the best way to go even if I make the wrong decision that's not the customers fault that's on me. It's sad the quality of workmanship in the state these days. Integrity, honesty and just plain quality Service it's no longer required. Even after reaching out trying to resolve my issue they were no apologies and they didn't even try to help me it was pretty much this is the way and that's how it is no matter what we said. Because of this experience I will never purchase a Kia ever again the last card purchase was a Chevy in the Chevy dealership would help me in every single way possible and they were Upfront about everything including telling me the price of the car before and after all the taxes and telling me multiple times my payments every month. This Kia dealership Did not once tell me the final cost of the car I purchased and the payments every time they brought it up seem to go higher and higher. If you end up looking for a Kia definitely do not go to Pomona Kia they are a scam artist. More
