I have personally inspected the car at your dealership on the lift,with your head technician, Hawkeye, and my father who owns three automotive repair facilities in Northern Virginia. After several questions regarding the repair, I could not get a straight answer. I will drive the vehicle to see if the leak is still present, but there is a TSB regarding the repair which was not followed. This "band aid" approach to repair is unacceptable. I am also extremely hesitant to return for further repairs given the quality of services offered. I will however, tell you that Hawkeye was a huge help throughout the entire process and is an invaluable asset to Pohanka's service department. If not for him, I wouldn't have returned the second time.

I'm glad to hear of Tej and Hawkeye's involvement. They both tell me the oil leak is fixed, and it did not involve the TSB you referred to. Do you see a leak at this point? We are prepared to resolve this issue as soon as we can find out what is going on. Please advise. thank you Doug

The vehicle is presently on a lift with the under cover removed, and the leak is still present.

I have yet to hear any statement from Pohanka about refunding my money till your statement above. The only messages from Pohanka is a message that you want to resolve this issue or if I have 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel. Wow, clearly you have a top down problem. The messages that were left gave me and my wife the impression that we were not getting our money back. Those messages are what made me elevate this issue to Lexus Corporate. Yesterday was the first day that I heard Pohanka admitting they made a mistake and is going to give me my money back. Clearly, this is not a coincidence. You had many chances over the last 30 days to do such. By the way I was off the continent for several weeks. Perhaps have you ever thought your customers may have a busy work load? All you had to do is say just once in those several messages was "We made a mistake, could you please contact us so we can refund your money". Your obstinance of this entire situation is incredible. It is my advice to let your owner aware of this situation. I will be writing a letter to Lexus corporate and your owner.

This issue has been resolved with a full refund to you. As soon as we realized we had made a mistake, we attempted several times to reach you for a full refund. You did not return our calls.
