Bought Michelin tires for my 2006 330ES from Pohanka Lexus. Usually go to Costco for their best price, outstanding service and FREE road hazard warranty, pressure checks, tire balance & rotations, ALL Lexus. In a moment of weakness, I took the car to Pohanka Lexus because they promised to meet or beat the Costco price for the Michelin tires I was replacing. Some guy came out and it was a pressure sale from the begining, throwing numbers at me like I was buying a car, trying to confuse me - no kidding! By design, I was confused and wanted to just get it over with, so I bought the tires at Pohanka. BIG MISTAKE!! A few days ago my wife (it's her car) noticed that the front tire was low on air. A quick look showed that she had picked up a nail. Having been through the labyrinth known as the service dept. at Pohanka Lexus before, I called first to verify that, like Costco and as promised, they had a free road hazard warrany and would repair my tire at no charge. WRONG!! They got me again! There is a 2 year limit on the road hazard warranty (Costco's is a more reasonable 5 years). I was two months over and they wouldn't budge. Skip Pohanka Lexus. Jim was great to work with. We bought a new Lexus 450H and traded the Mercedes ML350. In both scenarios our expectations were not only met, but exceeded way and beyond. So, I called the dealership service department for a car wash they offer as a Lexus owner. They said I can come in but starting this year since Jan 2012 they have started charging $17.99 for the wash and wh wash they offer as a Lexus owner. They said I can come in but starting this year since Jan 2012 they have started charging $17.99 for the wash and what exactly are they charging for? an unclean car wash and lot of important parts not cleaned and the alloy wheels getting more dirtier? I can tell you guys, Lexus at Pohanka are here to get every single penny out of your pocket for whatever they can come up with. After hearing this from the service department, I decided to drive another 30 miles to Lindsay Lexus in Alexandria and get my car washed and also get the oil change done, nice and friendly people there. Once earlier I visited them for a tire pressure check light that came on,they kept me waiting for 2 Hours just to check that and as I stepped out to have a little chat with the guys who take the car in the service when you arrive, he told me since my service does not get them any commission from Lexus to do a simple check they usually get the car checked as last as possible by giving preference to other customers first. Well good to hear that from the horse's mouth. My suggestion avoid this dealer if you want to get a good experience. More

From beginning to end, our experience at Pohanka was great, largely due to our outstanding sales rep Mike Wattawa. In fact, we had such a good first experience with Mike (lease on a 2011 IS convertible great, largely due to our outstanding sales rep Mike Wattawa. In fact, we had such a good first experience with Mike (lease on a 2011 IS convertible), we came back less than a week later to get a second vehicle (2012 GX460). Mike and everyone at the dealership is professional, friendly, knowledgable, and low pressure. Mike has the added advantage of a great sense of humor. The quality of the vehicles speak for themselves. Leasing terms were good, and the process was relatively painless. Also important -- we got a great value on both trade-ins. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend both the dealership and especially Mike (we would have rated him EXCELLENT given the chance!). More

One of the features factored in to purchasing our Lexus at Pohanka Lexus was the promise of a complimentary car wash any time. Living nearby, we took advantage of this nice feature occasionally (but not too often!) sometimes with and sometimes without a service being performed. We were recently informed by the service staff that the dealership has decided to cease this service January 1, 2012 and that nobody was going to be grandfathered. Pohanka Lexus made a promise, then reneged on it. NOT very trustworthy...decide for yourself if this is a place where you would want to do business. We sure won't anymore, be it for service or new car purchase! P.S. - Alexandria Lexus will wash ANY Lexus- whether or not you bought from them!! More

I am greatly appreciative of my experience at Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly and the customer service I recieved from their staff. Wesley Wolfe came highly recommended to me from a friend who had worked wit Lexus of Chantilly and the customer service I recieved from their staff. Wesley Wolfe came highly recommended to me from a friend who had worked with him a few months prior to purchase his most recent vehicle. From the moment I stepped on the showroom floor I recieved full attention from Wesley and his colleague Tate Attia who also helped me with my purchase. Based on our conversations prior to my visit, they had my first vehicle waiting curbside for a test drive. I was able to try out a number of IS250, IS350 and ES350 models until I found exactly what I was looking for. Wesley was also able to drive and valuate my current vehicle (Infiniti I30) and give me the trade-in value within the first hour of my visit. Half expecting to make multiple visits back to the dealership before I found my next car, Wesley and Tate showed me over-the-top attention to detail and helped me find my dream car by asking all the right questions. They were also able to help simplify the financing/buying process for me by explaining in detail the financing options available to me from the dealership. Extremely happy with the car I was able to purchase, the guys connected me with Viktoria Piano in the financing department to finalized the buy. She explained my options, in depth, until I found financing terms I was comfortable with. She also explained each of the servicing options available to me and was knowledgable on each option.
