The title and tags department was a nightmare, I went back 3 weeks after to check out another Lexus for my daughter, which I am seriouly thinking of purchasing in a few weeks (not sure now), it was a Friday 10 days before my temporary tags expired. I figured while I am there, I can ask for my tags, the girl said, (did not get her name) we have your tags and will be mailing it out to you tomorrow, so expect it by Tuesday. I waited for the entire week, and have just 3 days left before the old tags expired, to date I am still waiting on my new tags, I called Cesar, very helpful as usual, he really tried his best, and the tags were still sitting on the girl's desk, I spoke to 2 people including the manager, they had every excuse that just did not make sense, they were just covering for each other, Note I did my registration 2 days after I purchased the vehicle in MD and send the originals to Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly the said day, when I called a few days after they said they have received my registration documents. I understand it will take a week or two for VA to get the tags, but to have it sitting on your desk,..... More

The Service Department at Pohanka is equally helpful, and the mechanics do great work; although they left ink marks or grease on the upholstery on a few occasions over the years. That said, when brought to the Service Desk's attention, they always cleaned it up good as new every time. More
I went to Lindsay Lexus of Alexandria first to test drive the Lexus RX 450h. The experience was very friendly, but we weren't ready to buy, since we hadn't done enough research on price. Did about an hour of research on pricing and got in contact with Cliff Stewart at Pohanka over the phone to see if they had the car we wanted and to get a sense for my price range. I came in the same day, saw that they had the exact car I had asked for over the phone, and even did a test drive to make sure the car was in tip-top shape. Then we got down to business. I gave him a number I felt comfortable paying, which I knew to be a very good deal for me. Cliff didn't haggle me up, he accepted my offer and also gave a fair price for my trade-in. My advice is to come prepared with an offer based researching invoice information and make your deal based on that, not MSRP, and Pohanka will get you in an out with minimal hassle. More
I hate an easy purchase of a new ES 300h. Cliff and his manager Garry Whipkey were a pleasure to deal with. They answered all my questions and came up with a deal that fit my needs. As you know I'm in the last stages of moving my household to FL. This past Friday I needed Roadside Assistance for a flat tire. Mr. Frantz Bastien arrived within the anticipated time estimate. He was faced with moving lots of miscellaneous items out of my trunk in order to get to the spare. I'm still recovering from foot surgery so I was of no help to him. This didn't phase Frantz at all. He insisted that I relax while he go about the tire change in oppressive heat and direct sunlight. After he left I realized that instead of tossing 'stuff' from the trunk into the back seat he took care to move them neatly. Please find a way to pass my appreciation to Frantz for his professionalism. He does a great job of facing your customers in their most stressful and trying circumstances. Warmest Regards Always More
My husband and I walked into Pohanka Lexus to either return our leased vehicle and get into a new or buy the RX 350 we currently had. I was a little nervous since we had never purchased/leased a vehicle from there. The two Lexus we previously leased were from North Park Lexus, Texas. Can I just say that Adilson and Wesley were awesome! Adilson right away communicated with me to set up a time. When we arrived at the dealership Wesley took over and showed us vehicles, colors, and test drove with us. He was great and had excellent customer service. We didn't even have to negotiate a price because the price he quoted was less than we wanted to pay. We were in and out with our nice brand new car within two and a half hours! And that's with Adilson going over the features of our new car! At North Park we took half the day. Thank you so much for this easy process and excellent customer service! I also would like to add that the Service Department has been an awesome expericence as well. Since we've moved up in this area we've used the service department for our scheduled maintenance and have never had problems. My husband and I highly recommend buying your next vehicle from Adilson or Wesley. Thank you Pohanka Lexus for making our experience a great one :) More
Pohanka's service was excellent as always. I do have one issue. When I came in for the 5k service I asked that like on my old Lexus. Lowering the windows with the key remote would not open the sun roof. one issue. When I came in for the 5k service I asked that like on my old Lexus. The service tech at the time showed me that it was not part of the standard options. Not having the book with me I let it go. When I came back for this 10k service, I had the book with the information for the mechanic. The service writer wrote it down and said he would call me. I got a call from the service writer that it could be done for $65.00. I asked about the one time custom setup. The service writer said that it was only available on the 5k service. Furthermore at that time I had the option of either the service or the one time custom setup. Since I chose the service appointment I was out of luck. Maybe there is a reason why Lexis is losing ground to its competitors? More
I was torn between getting a Lexus and a Bmw. I went to the Pohanka Lexus dealership in Chantilly and the guy that helped me was awesome. You can tell he is very passionate about cars!!!. We still went to a nearby Bmw dealer but we left within 10mins of being there because of the way they received us!!! My husband was like " if they are treating like this before we give them our money, I can imagine how they will treat us afterwards" We called Albert and made our way back to the Lexus dealership and got our Lexus. Very pleased and impressed. Awesome customer service! More
Today I picked up my new 2013 Lexus RX450h. It is my eighth automobile purchase from Pohanka Lexus in the past 20 years and my second RX Hybrid. Mickey Whitehead is the senior sales person who worked w eighth automobile purchase from Pohanka Lexus in the past 20 years and my second RX Hybrid. Mickey Whitehead is the senior sales person who worked with me for most of the process. I have known Mickey for 17 years and he is truly a professional salesman. But on this sale he brought in Joon Lee, a young apprentice salesman, to assist during the process since it was a 3 month long process of notifications and expectations. Joon and Mickey kept me well informed of all milestone dates such as build date; shipping date from Japan; port arrival date in the U.S., and expected dealer delivery date. I did a special factory order in mid-February, as I wanted specific features and options that were not the common ones that most cars come with. For example I wanted the Luxury package with the blind spot monitor. This package gave me upgraded semi-analine leather, a heated steering wheel, LED headlights, and a host of other luxury options. I also wanted the Mark Levinson sound system, which is rarely ordered. I don't know why that is true but if one appreciates fine music this system has 15 speakers, lots of amplification and it sounds truly wonderful. The car finally arrived in 3 months from date of order. I also found out that Pohanka has a new position who works with the sales team called a Technology Specialist. Marilyn Grabman is that person at Pohanka Lexus and was hired to perform this role and she does it very well. She works with the customer once the vehicle arrives and provides in-depth training on all the features and how to best utilize them. As these cars get more technical features built into them it is an important team member to have involved in the delivery process. She sits with the customer in the new vehicle and completely covers every little nuance that the vehicle has in the way of technology and how to properly use it. Pohanka Lexus has made the auto buying and delivery process very enjoyable and does it without a hiccup. I can't say enough about how professional and customer service focused these folks are. I highly recommend Pohanka if you're looking for a new Lexus. You will not be disappointed. More

I worked with Mickey Whitehead and Abtin Viziri to special order a new Lexus RX hybrid in mid-Feb and expect delivery within the next couple of weeks. I received a great deal on the RX and will proudly have it maintained by Doug and his team at Pohanka Lexus. More
